02 Micro / Macro CLEMSON MARCH II PROGRAM - COMMUNITY HOUSING SITE - BREMERTON, WASHINGTON FALL 2018

Micro / Macro is an entry for the Cote Top 10 competition, which focuses on innovation and forward thinking design for the future. The focus of the 2019 competition was housing and

In collaboration with Chloe Voltaire

in Micro / Macro we’ve asked, how do we integrate individual, community, and environmental life cycles, at various scales, into architecture? Housing communities are complex ecosystems that exist within the fabric of cities. They can offer solutions to problems and issues at various scales; personal, community and the greater environment. Life cycles such as aging, water and material use exist within these scales. Through an analytical

that exists at the intersection of these vastly broad yet deeply personal cycles.
