This letter ‘S’ looks like it has been created digitally and has a 3D effect. The shapes used in this are creative as they dont meet in the middle but look like a letters
The letter ‘B’ has been created using twigs and leaves. They have been placed in a specific layout to show the shape of the letter. I like this because it is differant and shows type mixed in with nature and demonstrates the theme of leaves. This letter ‘A’ has been created by adding water to ink and alowing it to spread. There is already an existing font in the background. I like this because it looks abstract but still legible.
From far away this letter looks asthough it is made from paint splatts but when you look closly at it you can see it is made up of differand thapes and colours- pinks, purples and reds.
This is a page from my sketchbook showing the differant typography termonoligy including stems, bars, legs, bowls, counters, ascender, baseline, x-height, cap height and decender line.
This is one of my concepts showing the floral theme. This was my origional concept but i decided not to use it as i thought the smaller lines would not show up aswell when I scanned it into the computer. These are some screenshots I have taken during development. The first one shows how i copied the font from my hand drawn concept onto illustrator. The secons show the detail and how I edited each bit. The other two are when I uploaded the fonts onto MyScriptFont and downloaded them to create a fully working font.
This is my final font which was called ‘Test Font 4’ after editing my font 5 times to remove any little errors i was happy with my overall font.
