Franz Ippoldt, born and trained in Austria: • Is the studio’s founder and project visionary • Has worked on his craft for the past 30 years, first in Italy and then in France • Is a sought-after master weaver of silk, gold, silver; velvet, brocade and lampas for drapes, upholstery & haute couture

the European Centre of Excellence for traditional silk-weaving, with 40 to 50 Jacquard looms continuing to produce: • exclusive modern creations • historic replicas for museums, collectors and palaces • life-style accessories
