In“Cinema Paradiso” the whole village gathers at an open cinema to enjoy a film by the sea, even a few the sailors glance from their boats. Cinema, plaza, villagers and sea come together in a most memorable scene. At the Plage du Palais des Festival a great screen is projected as a landmark, transforming the cityscape. During the day, a pure prism; at night, a support for audiovisuals and movie screenings. Seen from afar, not only is it accessible to all, it makes the whole city take part in the festival.
