The context presented with a situation which required the spaces to be introverted and extroverted at the same time.

CONCEPT: The campus dealt with how much of the external forces can be neutralised by providing architectural components into the mix.
Navigating the contour with minimum intervention on the landscape was another aspect this semester taught us.

The site consituted of a dense network of flaura and fauna. Situating a built space with minimal impact to the local systems was the challenge this studio offered.

CONTEXT: Situated at the southern end of an institutional campus. The housing looked at getting the maximum amount of sunlight into the individual apartments.
The trees present on the site was important in terms of the clues for gathering spaces.
Openings and double height spaces was oriented in windward direction.

CONTEXT: This project required us to revert to our origins and build for our forefathers. The site and the built was the result of intense research and consultation with history.

CONCEPT: Building in the past, this design needed us to question our origins and the simpler needs of the people in the past. It helped us realise how design is not about materialistic things, which is the picture painted nowerdays but rather solving the problems of the people.
