A PASSION FOR AR T My choice for becoming a Liberal Arts major in college was driven by my love for art. Acrylic paints are my preferred medium when working with canvas, but I enjoy using oil, ink, and watercolors. Every extra minute I had to spare was dedicated to my art. As I made my way into adulthood, art seemed to take different forms and my curiosity expanded to adapt to whichever form of art I choose to peruse. Looking back, I now realize how much my passion for art contributed to my career choices and I could not be where I am today without the role it played and continues to play, in my life.

A PASSION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY In college I decided I would follow my second passion of fine art photography. I had the honor of winning awards in high school for my still life photographs therefor I felt like it was a natural progression to minor in the field. Since then I have been lucky to be able to utilize my skills, most recently working full time for a realtor in Carmel, CA, Tim Allen. The photos shown here were taken for a promotional piece that I put together for a property in Carmel. My decision was to promote this property in the light that it was already showcased in, a piece of art. This was my take on “Live in Art”; other images were also used to help promote the campaign and help bring famed Ron Mann’s vision to life. Throughout my career I have photographed beautiful multimillion dollar mansions as well as small cottages and also had the pleasure of with working with some great people which allowed me to expand my portrait photography skills as well.

A PASSION FOR DESIGN When I decided to pursuit my Bachelor Degree I knew that the emphasis will be in business and graphic design. I was fortunate to have opportunities throughout my career that allowed me to explore my interest in graphic design early on. First through my internship at Fox Racing Inc. and then when I was hired by Coldwell Banker. Three years after Coldwell Banker hired me to handle their advertising/ marketing for their highest producing real estate offices on the Monterey peninsula, I was approached by one of their top producing agents in the country to start working for him exclusively as his marketing director.
PHOTOGRAPHY SAMPLES A small collection of photography from my personal work as well as my time spent shooting homes in real estate. My background was fine art photography and I learned early on that the transition to real estate photography was very similar to what I was used to capturing.

proved to come handy when I made the switch to real estate photography.
The
subject
remains the same as well as the challenge to make it look in the best light. These photos are taken from two homes one in Carmel Valley and the other in Pebble Beach, California. Moving out to Reston, Virginia is given me a new canvas and I am really excited to continue my photography passion on “the other� coast.
