I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s in rural Michigan. My summers were spent exploring the woods that ran behind our house, swimming at the beach, and running barefoot, wild, and free ... ‘till the street lights came on. It was an awesome Free-Range kind of childhood full of wonder and imagination. It’s where the little artist in me was born. As an adult I still spend much of my time outside, exploring and creating adventures out of every day life. My artist career has taken many forms over the years, and most recently it has brought me to Surface Pattern Design. The pattern collections included in this portfolio are a reflection of the magic I find in the bountiful nature that surrounds me here in Michigan.
