2024 Pavement Management invests $1.8 million in Leavenworth streets

Each year the City of Leavenworth completes a Pavement Management Program, using a Pavement Condition Index and other factors to maximize the best repairs possible within our budget. The 2024 program is now complete, using a mill and overlay process in which contractors mill the top 2" of driving surface and repave. There were 23 different sites, including those shown below. Completed repairs: Shrine Park Road from McDonald Road to Eisenhower Road.

Completed repairs: Each year the Pavement Management Program includes one city-owned parking lot. This year, the Richard Allen Cultural Center parking lot was re-paved.
Completed Repairs: Shawnee Street from 15th to 20th street was repaved.
Kiowa Street in front of Bethel AME Church was repaved.
