Brief Title : Tigerprint Christmas card competition. The Brief : To explore the traditional and contemporary icons related to Christmas and design a card for a male and female audience, appropriate for sale in shops such as Marks & Spencer. Response : Traditional have been explored in the submissions for this competition, they have been adapted by manipulating their common perception which has resulted in five different designs. Each entrant was allowed to submit up to five entries which encouraged me to do so. This also proved to be an opportunity to create a range of different ideas. The entry I feel was best suited (right) was initially a hand rendered illustration which was then digitalised by adding filters and then inserting a patterned fill and text.
