Presented with limited site area for apartment development, we try to create a compact design for both vehicular sirculation and space utilization, in order to create a more spacious feeling, inside and outside.

DROP OFF. In order to create a grander entrance, the drop off area were designed within a boxy perimeter, created by laser-cut metal panels. Metal panels and H-beams were selected to create a more modern feeling for the whole design. 09

DROP OFF AREA & PARKING PODIUM. One of the problem in this project is the facade of its parking podium which is quite massive (6 storey) from the drop off area. We design this parking podium as part of the design feature, covering it with massive green facade and also there is continuation of pattern from the drop off box to the parking podium. Making it a part of the drop off feature.

For the office design, we try to create a separate entrance and exitindependent from the apartment entrance to reduce the traffic load within the site. We also try to maximize the ground floor area for lobby and sellable space, so we create a compact vehicular circulation design.

It is very important for this project to place both office massing and parking building massing right, as it determines the efficiency of both programme.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION A competition for local bank head office located in Medan, Indonesia. The site shows quite a challenge because of its thin width.

Considering its site, we had to offer a compact and functional design. The architectural solutions for this problem is to create 2 separated masses : office & parking, connected on the 5th floor. The gap between these masses is used as the drop off for the bank, thus making its circulation compact. The parking concept used here is split level parking, to provides more car lots within the allocated space. 17

PROJECT DESCRIPTION A competition to design Indian War Museum, located in main road in New Delhi, India, between India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan, surrounded with historic building.

The main design intent is to create a modern building without alienating it from its surrounding buildings. Design tried to create a suppressed feeling that war usually stimulates with dark coloured, rough textured materials.

FRONT FACADE -- EAST VIEW. We designed a big entry plaza as part of contribution to its surroundings, making it comfortable for pedestrians. The auditorium, which is a separated mass from the main museum, are disguised as landscape so the main museum building can stands out.

EXPLODED DIAGRAMME. We try to segmentise each war, starting from the ancient wars to the moder era wars. We categorized these wars into 15 segments according to their timeline and we translate it as part of the design. Each segment is representated by a totem-like column on the ground floor. While the traditional approach for this typology tends to make the building sterile when not in use, we tried to enhance the spatial quality surround it to be more public, welcoming, and act as activity generator.

When mega event occurs, the exhibition space are extendable to the outdoor plaza, making it an outdoor exhibition area.

The indoor exhibiton halls can be use for small events to big events, and the halls can be adjust to fit for these events.

When mega event occurs, there will be circulation diversion so the outdoor exhibbition area keep safe and undisturbed.
