A Message From Your General Manager

We can’t seem to catch a break with Mother Nature. It’s certainly been a wet start to 2023 but keep the faith, it has to get better eventually! March is here and before you know it, the temperatures will become consistently warm and the grass turning green.

I’m hopeful you’re off and running and on target with your New Year’s resolutions. It’s always good to set goals and aspirations- which is certainly the case with the game of golf. Think about a handicap level you want to reach by June and then another by year end. This is a great way to help improve your game.

The golf and tennis calendars have been completed for 2023. The club calendar has been updated with many exciting social events for the year. The summer camp dates have been finalized and sent out to the membership.

I have heard nothing but great reviews about the Valentine’s dinner executed by Eric, Chef Danny and the rest of their teams. We are so grateful for their thoughtfulness in creating a fine dining holiday experience for our members. The Super Bowl party was a great time had by all and the food provided was exactly what you would want for that evening.

John Baker and our grounds crew have done a great job keeping us clean and in good shape this winter. The clubhouse grounds and flower beds are being prepped for fresh pine straw to be laid. Those flowers will begin blooming before you know it!

We are planning to have another Divot filling day on 20 March. The course has really been neglected with all the Cart Path Only play the past two months. Standby for more info on this event.

Cramer Mountain Club has permitted Stuart Cramer, Forestview, and Southpoint to practice on our golf course during the week in the late afternoon. Promoting junior golf is a part that we would like to be involved with in these kids growing future!

Restaurant Spring hours prior to the opening of the pool will be the following:

Tuesday-Thursday 11am-8pm

Friday-Saturday 11am-9pm

Sunday- 10am-5pm
