Psychological flexibility determines your ability to succeed in your career, while maintaining a meaningful life. There has been so many materials published on how to achieve work-life balance. Most of them makes total sense. But many fall short in explaining the true value of psychological flexibility and how it can only be achieved if you change imprints or memories contributing to inflexibility.

Just What Exactly is Psychological Flexibility? There are various definitions of this terminology. But it is simply: 1. Learning to adapt to fluctuating demands. 2. How to utilize proper mental resources. 3. Learning to shift mindsets. 4. Balancing desires vs. needs.

With just the four points expressed above, it makes psychological flexibility among the top skills that a person must be able to achieve. Needless to say, among the top goals a life coach must be able to teach.

Psychological Flexibility and Stress To outsmart stress in all aspects of life, one must not be good at simply ignoring it. In fact, being mindful about what evokes stress can resolve so many life issues. Psychological flexibility allows you to recognize why exactly a particular subject causes stress and by learning how to shift your mindset and utilizing your mental resources, you will be able to make peace with it.

When stress arrives, there is no need to temporarily ignore it. But simply your mind no longer feels the need to avoid a particular situation. It makes you achieve richer experiences and interactions, compared to avoidance, which limits you from seizing possible opportunities.

Memories Limiting Psychological Flexibility As I have mentioned earlier, what lacks understanding and explanation in most published online articles is the subject of how your imprints and memories contribute to either improving or limiting psychological flexibility.

For any person to really achieve and sustain a flexible mental atmosphere, there needs to be a focus on collapsing toxic mindsets. Without learning how to change how your subconscious and conscious mind communicate by using memories, you might mistaken a few bad decisions to be bound with psychological flexibility, when in fact, it isn’t. For example in shifting mindsets to avoid a particular event or experience. You may think it is practicing psychological flexibility if you choose to go out and party instead of finally talking to your partner about an issue in your relationship. This is a very shallow example, but the easiest way for me to communicate the idea. The scenario I made up above will cause you to have fun with friends while avoiding a challenging experience. But without digging deep into the soup of emotions and memories, your decision may not be actually practicing psychological flexibility. Obviously that is experiential avoidance which will lead to bigger problems. When shifting mindsets to make a decision, a psychologically flexible person have a deep understanding of the true nature of things, without choosing to avoid or ignore. Shifting your mindset to what matters most without fear will result in resolving issues and moving forward in life with peace of mind and clarity.

How I Help Enhancing Psychological Flexibility? I offer people a chance to learn how to be more psychologically flexible by learning how to destroy belief systems causing toxic behavior. Living in the moment with difficult thoughts from painful memories may cause you to isolate your decisions and responses to life.

I have helped many combat their fears and the ideas causing them to be psychologically inflexible by showing them how to accept the genuine reality of the present moment and not their (very often flawed) idea of what it must in an instant. As the memory changer, I value the power of your memories and how you can utilize them to align your mental resources to make powerful positive decisions that will contribute to help you achieve and sustain happiness. There is no benefit in avoiding painful situations, it is simply an attempt to feel safe. In reality, it resolves nothing. However, it does not suggest that you constantly choose to be exposed to painful experiences. What one must aim for is to reach that level in which any painful situation will no longer cause greater pain, except perhaps momentarily, and be able to cope fast and align with joy and love. I assist clients to learn how to become more flexible by using a proven system with framework that utilizes memories held within the subconscious - Eutaptics. I offer you a chance to change your memories and be guaranteed to achieve psychological flexibility even in the most trying times.
