SETTING THE SCENE • Memphis (6-5) returns to the friendly confines of FedExForum on Thursday, Dec. 29, when the Tigers host Robert Morris (10-3). The game, to be televised on Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS), is slated for a 6 p.m. (CT) start. • The Tigers were not ranked or listed in the Also Receiving Votes category of both national polls, which were released Dec. 26. Robert Morris is not ranked. • Memphis enters Thursday’s encounter having dropped three of its last four outings. The Tigers’ lone win in that four-game stretch was a Dec. 19 home victory over Lipscomb 85-75. The three setbacks were to Murray State, No. 4/4 Louisville and No. 16/16 Georgetown. • Memphis returns all five starters and 10 letterwinners from last year’s squad.
