SETTING THE SCENE • Memphis (14-9, 6-4 The American) opens a two-game American Athletic Conference road trip Tuesday, Feb. 10 when it travels to Greenville, N.C., to face East Carolina (10-13, 3-7 The American). • Tuesday’s game, to air on ESPNU, is slated for a 6 p.m. (CT) tip from Williams Arena, the Pirates’ on-campus facility. • The Tigers were not ranked in the Feb. 2 polls and also did not appear in the Also Receiving Votes category of either poll (the Feb. 9 polls were not released as of press time). East Carolina was not ranked in either poll. • Memphis has won 12 of its last 18 entering Tuesday’s American Athletic Conference match-up at East Carolina. • In that stretch, the Tigers’ 12 wins came over Bradley 73-45 Dec. 6, N.C.
