SERIES SWEEP OVER SEC FOE Memphis completed a comeback in game two of the series with Missouri to clinch the three-game series and followed it up with an 8-2 victory on Sunday for the sweep. With the sweep, Memphis clinched its first three-game, series victory over a SEC foe since the 1981 squad swept Tennessee at Nat Buring Stadium. ON THE ROAD AGAIN Memphis plays its first road game of 2013 on Tuesday at Ole Miss. Dating back to 1978, the Tigers carry a 299-408-1 record on the road. The Tigers haven't had a winning record on the road since 2006 (13-11), but the U of M was 13-13 in 2012. In the 35 year span, Memphis has posted a winning record on the road in 12 seasons, but only once since 1994.
