Notes

The Tigers entered conference play with an 8-5 record, sporting identical 2-1 records in each of the four weekend tournaments where they competed in addition to a midweek loss to Arkansas State. After spending the first two weekends of conference play on the road, splitting the first weekend against Louisville and Cincinnati and then taking on Temple the following weekend. Memphis returned to the Elma Roane Fieldhouse for a home stand of five games in nine days, starting things off against SMU and Houston. SMU downed the Tigers 3-1 and Houston outlasted Memphis in a 5-set battle. Memphis took on Tennessee State University in a midweek non-conference matchup and finished on the short end of another 5-set decision. Despite the three game losing streak at home the Tigers still hold a 4-6 record at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse on the season. Catlin Lilly has spearheaded the Tiger offense thus far, entering the weekend with an average of 3.32 kills per set in her freshman campaign. Senior Viktorija Teivane and junior Lauren Hawkins have averaged 2.87 and 2.86 kills respectively. McKenzie Hayes has played strong as of late, upping her average to 2.13. Veronica Zimmerman leads the Tigers with 10.65 assists per set, while Aleksandra Petronijevic leads the defense with 5.41 digs per set. Lilly and Teivane have each had seven double-doubles this year, while Zimmerman leads the team with eight.
