Greer and Conor Hurley. • Three’s Company Currently, there are two teams, Memphis and UCF, with perfect, 3-0, records atop the Conference USA standings. Kentucky also holds three wins at 3-0-1 and UAB stands with an unblemished record at 2-0-1. Memphis has beaten Missouri State (9-4-11), Belmont (9-1-11) and Lipscomb (8-28-11). • Take Two! Memphis has won its last 20 games when scoring at least two goals, including this year’s wins at Belmont and versus Lipscomb. The streak stretches back to the 2007 season, when the Tigers played to a 3-3 tie against then-No. 14 Tulsa. Excluding ties, the Tigers are unbeaten in a total of 27-straight games when tallying two goals. Memphis’ last loss when scoring at least two goals occurred in 2006 at the hands of Creighton (Nov. 7) by a score of 3-2. • Tigers Face “Great” Challege When Memphis heads to Madison, Wisc., to face UIC and Wisconsin this weekend, it will face the ninth and 10th-ranked teams in the Great Lakes Region. UIC currently sits ninth in the latest NSCAA regional poll and Wisconsin is tied for tenth with Buffalo. • The Tigers vs. The Flames Memphis and UIC have played to a series record of 1-1-1, with the last meeting (10-17-04) ending in a 1-1 draw. When Memphis and UIC face off on Friday, September 9, 2011, they will have played two games exactly 10-years apart.
