Still Looking for Conference Home Win Memphis is 5-2 in conference road games. That should have Memphis in great shape in the league standings, except Memphis is 0-7 in league home games now with a match against Cincinnati wrapping up a five-match home stand on Wednesday night. The Tigers will play three of their last five on the road. Memphis will be back on the road for a one-match conference weekend, playing at East Carolina, Friday, at 5:30 p.m. (ET) before a Pirate basketball game. That will be followed with a Florida weekend for Memphis, where the Tigers play at UCF (Nov. 20) and USF (Nov. 22). Zimmerman 43 Assists Shy of 4,000 Redshirt senior setter Veronica Zimmerman is just 19 assists shy of hitting the 4,000 career assist mark heading in to this week’s play. Zimmerman, who missed her true freshman season while recovering from a knee injury suffered in high school, has now played in 110 career matches and almost 400 career sets of volleyball. She currently ranks fifth in The American with 8.93 assists per game and will be just the fourth Memphis setter in school history to dish out 4,000 or more career assists.
