Four Straight on the Road Memphis is playing seven of its first 10 American Athletic Conference matches on the road, including four straight over the next two weeks. The Tigers will play just three home matches during the entire month of October. Memphis’ next home match? Oct. 30th vs. UConn. But the Tigers seem to like life on the road. Memphis 2-1 on the road in league play so far this year and is 0-3 at home. Serving It Up Memphis is normally a tough-serving squad and, over the last four seasons thanks to school career digs leader Aleksandra Petronijevic held down the serve-receive game, typically out-acing their opponents. So far in conference play, the Tigers have recorded just 12 aces to their opponents’ 27, and have recorded 47 service errors, compared to 26 for the opponents. With attack numbers, dig numbers and blocking numbers close to even, the service game has been the biggest area of differences.
