SYMPHONY SOUL PROJECT In partnership with Community LIFT, the Memphis Symphony Orchestra received a coveted ArtPlace grant to create meaningful, musical experiences in Soulsville, USA. Through its Symphony Soul Project, the MSO has not only presented a season of concerts in the historic community, but also provided Family Tunes and Tales, ensemble performances and workshops for the community's schools, daycares, senior homes, afterschool programs and libraries. This residency gives the MSO and its musicians a chance to explore new methods of artistic engagement, all for the health and vitality of a real Memphis music neighborhood.
On April 20 there will be a repeat performance as part of the Symphony Soul Project. Learn more at SymphonySoulProject.org.
