PORTFOLIO CONCEPT 作品集不只是擺放作品的載體，本身也是作 The portfolio is not only a carrier for works, also a part of works. 7X06 means 7 品的一部分，7x06意為7個作品章節，每個 chapters of works and every chapter are 章節限定為6頁。條件限制下，讓作品集走 limited to 6 pages. Under the constraints, 向高密度，做出版面最大幅度發揮，捨棄奢 let portfolio towards to high-density, layouts played the most significant. I 侈的大量留白，強調質的提升。 discard the luxury blank, emphasizing 42個相異三角形象徵42個頁面的獨特性， quality improvement. 找出每個頁面主題，配合著作品的調性做 42 different triangles mean the uniqueness 出專屬的版面規劃，而非單純填空式排版。 of 42 pages. LORETTO A Sculpture Of an Elegant posture

L o r e t t o 是一塊純石膏雕塑，名稱取自Loretto chapel，因他的特殊螺旋梯 s t a i r c a s e 而聞名的禮拜堂，不依靠釘子與中央支柱而向上攀升，令人驚嘆的木工作品，因其相同的螺旋特徵而命名 Loretto is a Plastersculpture, named from Loretto chapel, famous by its special staircase. It doesn’t rely on Nail or central pillar, an incredible carpentry work. For the similar spiral structure I used to name loretto.

Loretto is improved work, Based on the plaster modeling jobs at college freshman. Unfortunately, I didn’t leave its orginal appearance on a record. After four-year university courses and training,I can transform it to the better appearance.

Loretto經歷過一次蠻嚴重的斷裂，因為不想放棄作品而硬是使用接合劑去接，下場是接合處的線條及表面都變得異常難處理，為了紀錄下

次的斷裂而留下了一個不完美的接合。

Loretto has once seriously broken ever. Because of not wanting to giv up, I used the adhesives for it. But, it cause hard to polishing because of the rough surface and the unsoomth lines. For record the this broken, I leave a defect on loretto

和製作產品模型追求精準度的方式不同，多了隨興的直覺和手感，也就無法避免的比例失衡和線條偏差。雖說因為這件事情吃了不少苦頭，重複修整過程中，

也就當成訓練美感以及造型能力的過程 Different from the Method which making product Model is pursuing precision, Loretto production ride is more arbitrary. Of course, I can’t avoid the problem of imbalance and line’s mistake. Though I suffer a lot, in the process, I still can comfort myself that it’s a train for aesthetic feeling and modeling capabilities.

Lamp made from recycle materials 最早是以廢棄物為材料製作的燈飾作業，光源沒有限制。雖說這是在產品設計課程的項目，但本質上更接近造型訓練。稍有不同的，就是多了對光影掌握，和材質表現吧 The beginning of the project is a lamp made by recycles. And, the light source is no limit. Although this is a item in the product design course, it’s similar to train of modeling. The different is more of the mastery of light and shadow, and the material performance.

The stream punk style Metal castle的最初發想是從光影連結到時間，從而打造出手

內部機心般的精密機械感，但由於使用的

材料為回收廢棄物，企圖做出的精緻感無法表達，反倒呈現一種復古風格。後來對風格樣式有更深了解後，才發現呈現樣貌更近似於80年代的蒸氣龐克 The first association for Metal Castle is from light and shadow to time. And, I wanted to create the precise mechanical sense like the clock movement. But, the materials I used is recycles. I couldn’t present the precise feeling. By accident, it presented a retro style. When I had better understanding of style, I find that the lamp is similar to stream punk in 1980s.

Sketch Composition Welding 在腳踏車行蒐集了不少廢棄零件，但剛到手的材料狀況非常差，切割與打磨除鏽花費了不少功夫。隨後是圖面上的規劃擺置，並以膠帶固定來確定每個焊接點，最終在鐵工師傅的耐心幫忙下，以圖面搭配一點直覺，完成了焊接 Gathering some discarded parts from bike at the bicycle store. But, all the parts are so terrible when I got them first time. I took many time for recutting and rusting. Then ,I needed to thought how to locate them, also fixed them with tape for determining welding point. Finally, by the metalwork artisan helping and the drawing coordinating intuition, metal castle’s main body finished.

The last task is the bulb placed. I made a mistake that I didn’t set a location for bulb in advance. In the first I used the LED for small. Placementing into Metal Castle successfully, but it can’t present the great Lighting effects because LED is linear light source. Also, didn’t obtain the coordinated shape ,I decided to abandon the LED. 20

By trying, decide to use the transparent incandescent light. When light opened, the effects were better With the big bulb emphasis sense of presence. And collocate the lamp holder reforming by painting. Final , I got a placement location at the upright gear hole. 21

Warm 以十字座標分類，但市面現有產品幾乎被無彩度類占滿，只能以冷暖硬軟做比較，而歸納市面多以灰黑白的冷系色調為主要大宗 In the beginning, we create our brand, oeri. Its name came from the Welsh. And, it mean cold and cool. We wanted to shape the brand image of simplicity, rationality, and set the target group to white-collar worker

Hard 造型意象部分同樣採取了軟硬，而橫軸改為簡約和複雜，分類效果較色彩分析為好，各式產品較為平均分布，為造型感柔而複雜的較為稀少 At the part of image analysis, we adopt hard and soft to be vertical axis, and the horizontal axis is simple and complex. The result of image analysis is better than color analysis. The distribution is average, and the shape soft and complex is less than other.

Pattern analysis

型態分析以功能性的角度切入，先分有無風扇兩類，再進一步分類出高度調整型、變形型、固定型，最後輔以材質做出表格歸納 Pattern analysis stress on function, we classified as using fan and no fan. Then,we further classify the type of height adjustment, deformation, stability. Final, completed the form with deciding to use material.

Competition analysis

競爭力分析配合自行設定族群和品牌形象，定義方向朝剛硬簡約的造型，和有扇的常駐型，並找出符合項目的市面產品進行更進一步研究 Competition analysis coordinate the Groups and Brand image we set, determine the direction to rigid and simple style, and stability with fan. Also, we find some product with above condition to do the further studies

結構分析拆解兩個現有散熱器，散熱器基本上並沒有太複雜結構，上下殼搭配電腦風扇，另視需求增減不同功能 In structure analysis, we take two cooler apart.in the base, the notebook cooler doesn’t have complicated structure,the upper and lower shall plus the USB fan. Also ,they may change function by different desire.

I ever set a goal to create luxury and low profile feeling by simple modeling when designing Ladybug Cooler. Unfortunately, Because of the limit of Spray painting, I couldn’t make wanted metallic luster . Eventually, the final result still let me feel satisfaction because the model is refined enough and all the mechanism can be operated properly.

不可忽視的問題，需

要被照顧的老人越來

越多，介護人員的工

作也日益加重。

介護人員每天都需要

幫助每個老人進行十

次以上的移位。現今

的移位動作會耗費極

大的力氣，也會造成

腰部脊椎的傷害。我

們針對從輪椅到床的

移位過程，設計出了

希芙媞。並帶入女性

的意象，表達溫柔和

順的感覺。

Population aging is an important issue in this century. Elders who need complete care become more and more. The workload of caregivers who take care for elders is heavier day by day. Caregivers have to shifting elders from wheelchair to bed more than ten times a day. Today’s shifting way makes caregivers spend a great deal effort. It also hurt their waist and back easily. And the most important thing, elder feels uncomfortable. We designed Lady Shifting, it can solve those problem and make caregivers save effort and prevent them from work injuries.

高齡化的社會問題切入，老年人口的增加並不只是工作人口的減少，而是要再投入更多資源去照護安養。針對照顧與被照顧的問題，希望完成同時對雙方有幫助的產品。選定安養院，與院長進行訪談，做為義工幫忙實際體驗觀察。 Focus on the social problem of population aging. Population growth of elder means not only workforce reduction, also represent it need to put in more and more resources to take care. For the problem of elder and caregiver, we hope to compete the product has benefit for both sides. And we choose a nursing home, interview with the dean, also volunteered to help for observation and experience in scene.

三個方向發展構想，有位功能的新輪椅，二是加輪椅上的輔具。三是立於外的移位裝置

Selected three direction to design. The one is a new wheelchair has shifting function. Second is additional object on wheelchair. The third is separate shift mean.

The Shifting Carts 訪椅有傷定

談過程特別提到移位問題，休息時間須輔助老人從輪移動到床上的過程，由低轉換到高平面相當費力，現方式需彎腰，照顧者得承受老人重量，容易造成職業害。一天下來數十次移位次數，負擔更顯沉重，最後決針對這問題切入。

During the interview process, the dean mention problem of shifting. While resting tome, they need to help elder move from wheelchair to bed, it’s toilsome. Existing method easy to cause occupational injury because caregiver need to stoop and bear elder’s weight. They have dozens of times shifting one day long ,the burden is more heavy. 34

初的概念相當快出現，以簡單的槓原理達到省力，並轉移施力點，從腰改為用手腳施力，減少職業傷害，而人的重量將藉由產品給予支撐。

First concept appeared quickly. By leverage divert the force point from waist to hand and achieve saving effort. Reduce the occupational injury, and the elder will be support by the product.

對測試位移量不足尋求機構解法，並實體化成第二台測試機，但只能帶起上肢移動，而非全身的轉動位移，宣告測試失敗 To solve the problem of Raised height we turn direction of mechanism, and build the second carts. But it only can move the upper body, not turn whole body. And, we declare the test fails.

為確認位置繪製人體圖，重點在趴時手到胸前的位置、以及作為腳部撐的膝蓋位置，受測者 3 人，身高範在 1 7 5 到 1 5 5 之間，身高主要影響膝位置。 To make sure the position, we draw Humanoid figure. And, pay attention on the position from hand to chest when leaning, and the knee position which can support leg. We have three sample from 175 to 155 cm tall. Conclusion is height only affect knee position.

次與廠商經理的討論為改良契機，移位時心裡信任度很要，照顧者與老人的肢體接觸可增加安全感，藉以顛覆型態，照顧者改為攙扶身體，增加老人的信任度也容易握狀況，體積縮減了一半以上，收納及使用上都更方便，體使用上看起來更為人性化

At once time we discuss with a manager of Karma, we find that it’s important of heart trust in shifting. And, the physical contact can add to security. So, we subvert patterns of cart. The improvement is caregiver turning to support by the elder’s arm. It can add the elder’s confidence and let the caregiver easy to grasp the condition. At the same time, the size is reduced by half, be easy to placed and used. The overall is looked more humanized.

Appearance 尋找符合意象並強度足夠的造型，選定三個做簡易草模，並以人體比例模型作模擬 Search the shape which image appropriate and strong enough. And, choose three idea to make rough model, simulate with the scale model of the human body.

Final decision modeling 融合了曲線與金屬支架，並保留舒適的大面積軟墊，和三點式底座設計，並以符合人體的優雅曲線賦與意象 Combine the curve shape and Metal framework, and retain the comfortable big area cushion and the three-point base. And, use the elegant curve suitable for human to give the image.

New Model Test 使用粗塑膠管和彈跳球，老人趴臥其上，彈跳球為底座作自體旋轉，達到效果，對雙方的信任度及安全感都有大幅幫助 By thick plastic tubes and a Bouncing Ball create. Let the elders lie on it, and make the bouncing Ball be a base and horizontally rotate. The effect is reached. And, it have significantly helped for mutual trust and security.

The base 將球面改為些微曲面，降低重心並增加使用上的安全性 Improve the spherical surface to slight curve surface. Let center of gravity lower and add security for using.

使用帆布寬布條做縫製，兼顧強度與柔軟度 Sew with the wide strips of canvas to make sure strength and softness enough.

FRP and Cushion

手工以保麗龍做出基本型態，再外包 F R P 成型，修整後完成 1 C M 厚度的軟墊基底，最後加入海綿並用沙發皮布包覆完成 Handmade the basic shape by Styrofoam, and outsource for FRP molding. After repairing, we got a basic of cushion which thickness is one centimeter. Final, coated by the sofa’s sponge and leather cloth.

Final install 噴漆完成後組裝成型 After the all part finishing painted, we assemble and install all the part.

Bend and Weld 在台南鐵工廠製作彎管，並完成焊接支架工作 Bend the metal tubes at the iron factory in Tainan, and finish the welding works of the framework.

為了重量的平衡，底座用整顆木模藉以穩固整體，修整細節後再噴漆完成 For balancing the overall weight, we choose the wood to be the material of base. After detail trimming we take it to paint.

輔助年長者腳踩黑色底座，膝蓋抵住軟墊下半部，再引導年長者趴臥軟墊上，使其舒適並有安全感。

Put the elder’s foot on the black base of Lady Shifting and confirm the elder’s knees can against the lower part of soft cushion. Then, lead the elder lie on the cushion, make the elder easy and comfortable.

同時扶著年長者與希芙媞，照顧者身體後退，使用槓桿原理帶動年長者臀部提高，並以腳踩黑色底座以增加穩定性與安全性。 Hold the elder’s arm and Lady Shifting. Caregiver moves back his/her whole body to drive Lady Shifting and use lever principle to raise the elder. Caregiver can put his/her foot on the black base to increase the stability and safety.

夜市不只代表傳統文化，在現今台灣人生活中也占據很重要的一塊，但對衛生和環境的影響卻是和現在環保節能理念相違背。

Night market not only stands for traditional culture, also has a important place in today Taiwanese life. But the effect for health and environment is contrary to the nowadays green energy concept.

The Garden Night Market would be full of live surrounding feeling at three night of a week. And the other time it’s just a vacancy. ﹁趕集﹂意為人們約

各式攤販的油煙排放並未多做處理，造成空氣問題 Various vendors doesn’t deal with the lampblack which they exhaust. Cause the problem of air.

電線與瓦斯桶直接交錯配置在走道，影響行走空間也另有用電安全疑慮 Wire and gas tank are placed on aisle. It affect the space for visitor and have concerns about the electrical safety.

攤位分配成列狀，卻找不到可供落腳休息的地方

販大致分成三類，食品座位區是主要髒問題的地方，服飾區的攤販多以ㄇ字型架擺設，希望以最小的空間展示最多的服，遊戲區則無固定形式。

享出來，供周圍攤販使用。 The Garden Night Market in daytime is a vacancy with no shelter. We combone the solar panel and create S-tree. The “S” means solar energy. The concept imitate tree can self-sufficiency. S-tree can absorb sunlight and store electricity, and share out to use for around vendors in night market.

藉由樹的環形結構改變了攤販排列方式，由以往的直向排列轉向圓形，瓦斯桶與電線被擺置在其中，不影響行走區，解決了電線收納與空間的問題。 S-tree’s ring structure changes the original arrangement of vendors from vertical to circle. The gas tank and wire will put inside the round, and don’t affect the aisle. It solves the problem of space and wire storage.

樹的頸部設置有抽油煙系統，不讓油煙朝人群排放，一方面降低空氣汙染，同時也提高夜市衛生品質。 At the neck of S-tree set the fume extraction system, not to emission to visitors. It can reduce the air pollution, also improve the health quality.

Transform the boutique clothing area to trails and gazebo. Sunshield at the top of gazebo use solar panel for provide electricity at night. The lower of gazebo appear like eastern style pane, can be a seat and let the metal frame for clothes rely on.

食品與座位攤販區 Food vendor with seat area 一棵樹約可設置10 15個攤販，樹與樹之間可設置花圃，供行人暫時休憩，也可讓攤販放置傳統的矮桌矮凳，保留夜市原先隨意的感覺。 One S-tree can set up the vendors from 10 to 15. Between the S-tree can site the parterre for rest. It also can place the traditional tabouret and table to retain the casual feel.

遊戲區 Recreation Area 保持遊戲區的機動性和隨意感，設定在夜市邊緣的寬敞空間 To retain the recreation area’s flexibility and casual feeling, we set up it at the spacious space at the night market edge.

parterre and garbage wells 綠化的花圃矮磚可提供夜市逛累民眾一個坐下休息的地方，並為保持清潔而設置垃圾井，符合分類效能並以曲面切割方式提高藝文空間美感。 The parterre can provide the visitors a place to rest. For stay clean we set up the garbage wells, can reach category and promote the aesthetic feeling by cutting surfaces.

Thoughts and Сonclusions 花園夜市是在 2 0 1 1 年參加第二屆學學獎綠色創意組的作品，或許因整體都太過概念化，很多實際面都未考量而只是入圍，但也確實做了一個和以往產品大不相同的設計主題。 Garden Night Market is a works for 2011 XUE XUE award. However, it’s too conceptual. A lot of real problem didn’t be considered, so we just finalist. But we actually make a design project which different from product design. 46

And , the Japanese style also bring simple and eastern feeling to F-ceiling fan.

Ceiling Fan Principle

吊扇主要由扇葉、扇頭、懸吊裝置及調速器組成，扇頭內配置交流電轉動電動機，轉動扇葉，以控制電壓的調速器來調整轉動速度，並以懸吊裝置固定整座吊扇。

扇葉轉動帶起風，再以扇葉的傾斜角度將風向外送出，帶起空間的空氣流通。

A ceiling fan is made up by flabellum, main part of fan, suspension device and speed governor. The motor is place in main part. It can spin the flabellum. And, the speed governor can control the rotational speed by adjusting voltage. Final, the whole ceiling fan fix by the suspension device.

Fan motor spin and create the wind. Inclination angle of the flabellum sent out the wind and let the air of the space can flowed.

Safety regulations of Ceiling Fan 吊扇懸空，體積大又無外層保護殼，需要安全規定也相對較多 Because ceiling Fan is hanging, has big size and no outer protective shell. It need more safety regulations. ●裝置處避免潮濕，且能負載30公斤以上 ●轉動時，不可有任何東西觸碰葉架與葉片 ●吊管和主體必須鎖牢固 ●每組葉架及葉片均有其配重，不可混裝 ●葉片末端與牆壁之距離60公分以上，與地面之高度至少250公分 ●燈具須設置在正下方，以免產生陰影晃動現象

With most simplicity type, let the air flow horizontal and vertical by the fan spinning. To increase efficiency and the ability for room cold.

operational simulation 1.節能：同時兼顧水平和垂直空氣流動，提升效率，節約能源。 2.安全：支柱由頂端到照明燈，中空保護電線，維持平衡及安全。 3.東方造型：旋轉時呈現松果型，創造整體曲線和諧，融合於居家樣式。

開啟電源後，中央扇葉旋轉，中盤負責水平方向的空氣流通；垂直扇葉則帶動垂直方向的空氣運轉，同時最下方的照明燈不受干擾，提供照明。

大學四年來累積下來的圖面，包含了產品草圖，建築圖面，展場設計圖面，到素描人像，異想奇幻場景和生物繪製。 The drawing accumulates In four years of college. Those conclude about product sketch, architectural Drawing, exhibition design, portrait, fantastic scene and biological Draw.

Product sketch

由產品草圖出發，最初臨摹劉傳凱式畫風，以強調線條流暢與俐落感，注重整個形體的掌握。圖中有希芙媞，掃具設計，和奧亞實習時的大量產品造型訓練，當然也有些隨筆作品。

Start from product sketch. At the first I learn the style of Carl Liu which emphasis smooth lines and neat sense, stress on form captured. In these sketch conclude Lady shifting, design for sweep tools, and products modeling training when internship in Aimasia. Of course it still has some works essays.

Fantasy Scenes

大量細節描繪的場景圖，最初想法是練習線條筆觸，卻意外畫出興趣，最早題材類似超現實主義，隨著所讀所看的東西變多，也朝科幻及奇幻類延伸，多是靈機一動的隨筆再慢慢補滿細部的描繪。 Start to draw scene with lots of details. The belief is training flicks, but gradually I had interesting to it. First topic is Surrealism. With the thing I read and know became more, gradually paint toward Science and Fantasy. it always is an inspiration coming, and progressively fill them with details.
