Colwick Country Park is very scenic and residents often go for walks around the lake. It is also frequented by visitors for picnics and barbecues and the area is full of wildlife. The site is surrounded by a good ecological environment. However, most of the surrounding houses are designed with little connection to the natural environment. The project aims to provide a recreational community center for the local village, where residents and visitors can relax and communicate. A community center that is in tune with nature in an ecologically sound environment. The relationship between people and the natural environment is continually explored and a closer link is established between the two.

Residental area

To the north of the site is a largely residential area with an overall stable and calm state of life for the residents.

Commercial area

To the south-east of the site is the local commercial center with high human traffic.

Colwick Country Park

The park is beautiful, clean, and spacious, with a high number of visitors, making it a safe haven for wildlife.

Colwick Skatepark

There is a skate park on the south-east side at the edge of the grass.

Block Generation

The body blocks are mainly in the shape of rings posed in the gaps of trees.

Final step

The final architectural shape.

The site is heavily wooded and well-vegetated. Adjacent to the main arterial road to the north and through a densely wooded area to the south is a large lake and to the east is a grassy area with open views. A small children's playground is located on the south-eastern corner edge. To the north-east is a parking area. The entire range can be outlined as a triangular area. The blocks have also been placed according to this triangle, forming an oval. The main entrance is set nearest to the main road and at a point where two paths cross. However, the whole building is not closed off and people can enter the site from anywhere.
