The Jiawang District of Xuzhou City is known for its coal mining resources, which have caused a large amount of land fractures due to years of coal mining. The site is located in the Pan'an coal mining collapse area of Xuzhou City, which has long been dotted with pits and ponds, over grown with weeds and in a poor ecological environment. This design is intended to restore and improve the original pit environment through landscape and ecological means, and it is hoped that the design could turn the site into a vivid urban oasis.
Sew
The site is located in the vicinity of the ruins of Panmen in the Gusu district of Suzhou, caught in the gaping space between the ancient city and the modern city. The design incorporates the weaving principles of Suzhou's traditional culture, Su embroidery, and uses straight stitches and threads as paths in the design. By stitching together the ancient and the modern, the ancient culture is given a new lease of life in the modern world, and a cultural area is set up within the site to give a new lustre to the traditional arts of kunqu opera and tea art.
The Restoration of Mine pit Meet
This project is located in a small community in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. The residents are a widespread group of people in the city, who are rarely willing to open up to others because of the epidemic. The proposal sets up 13 meeting places including the two main entrances and exits, and uses various design techniques, such as spatial changes, corridors, sports venues, etc., to place the main meeting places in the 13 points, and connects the points through roads to form a meeting flow, thus forming a large meeting surface for the whole neighbourhood, so that there is meeting everywhere as far as possible.
The Living Room in Paradise
A living room is not only for the livings, but also for families, friends, people, who are separated by death but desiring to be together. A greenland within the Skogskyrkogarden Cemetery in Stockholm, Sweden, was chosen for this extension. A tree-lined terrace and a walkway provide an elevated view over the cemetery. By creating the image of a heavenly meeting room (platform, walkway, tree house), people can stand far away from the ground and close to heaven to think of their loved ones and friends, or to express their thoughts in a more private meeting room space.

Through the intention of Su embroidery, the concept of stitching is incorporated into the design, transforming into paths and panels to connect the modern and the historical.
