Overview: There were two new patient flow standards 2014 for hospitals. This program will also discuss the three new ones that were implemented in 2013. This program is a must attend webinar for every hospital for two additional reasons. First the Joint Commission has emergency department (ED) quality measures along with CMS who has ED throughput measures which includes evaluation of the average time spent in the ED before they were admitted as an inpatient.
