ABOUT THE PROGRAM

ACTIVITIES

ELS English and Culture for the Modern Adult provides a flexible English- learning experience geared towards students over 30. Improve your everyday conversational skills while immersing yourself in activities and new cultural experiences. The program dates match the ELS Family Program for Winter of 2019, for parents that would like to bring the whole family to study. Study for 4 classes per day, stay for 1 week, or up to 5 weeks – the choice is yours. Learn English on your terms, at your pace, and on your schedule.

Get conversation-confident. This essential class within ELS Language & Culture for the Modern Adult gives you the skills you need to speak casually in everyday situations with ease and accuracy.

DISCOVER AND DISCUSS

Confidently share your thoughts and opinions on current topics. This discussion-based class focuses on contemporary subjects such as artificial intelligence, environmentalism, global citizenship, and more.

GRAMMAR IN ACTION

To speak well and to be understood, you will need to be precise and accurate. Learn the building blocks of the English language that help you seamlessly transition from the classroom to the real world.

Students taking part in the ELS Family Program may have an additional activity, with the Youth Program, included each week.

ACCOMMODATION One or two bedroom fully furnished apartments/apartment-style hotels are ideal for both the mature, independent student and the family program students. For those students wanting a full immersion experience, homestay is an excellent option.
