Join Stephen Neal at annual CSUB wrestling program fundraiser May 6 COURTESY THE COYOTE CLUB s another season of CSUB Wrestling has come to a close and we are already preparing for the 2014-15 season and beyond. We no longer receive money from the University; our program is fully funded by the community. We need to raise at least $250,000 each year to sustain the program. This fundraiser, in addition to several other programs we do during the year, assist to meet this commitment. Accordingly, we invite you to participate in our Fifth annual “Evening Neal with Stephen Neal” fundraiser Tuesday, May 6, at the Stockdale Country Club at 5:30 p.m. For tickets call: 302-4455. Stephen Neal, a 2x NCAA Heavyweight National Champion, World Games Champion, 3x Super Bowl Champion and a ten year veteran of the New England Patriots, will be our Guest of Honor. There will also be an oral and silent auction with raffle drawings to make for a fun evening. The CSUB Wrestling program is a member of the PAC 12 Conference. Wrestling throughout the state of California has been a victim of widespread budget cuts in recent years and we are one of three remaining programs in

the state. At CSUB, wrestling has been a proud tradition for over 40 years. This year we crowned one Champion at the PAC 12 conference meet. Bryce Hammond became a back to back winner as a redshirt sophomore at 174 pounds. Our future looks bright as we are in the midst of recruiting for the coming season with many redshirt wrestlers ready to compete. This is your opportunity to be part of the future of CSUB Wrestling. We look forward to your support to maintain our program and the wrestling tradition at CSUB.

aking a fitness class with a business client, rather than meeting up for dinner or drinks is the new happy hour. You can bond — and create a rapport with prospects and colleagues. Think of the money you’ll save and calories you’ll burn in a spin class. How about chatting up in between weight work sets? There’s always time to catch up doing core exercises — and you can compare notes while stretching. You can find out what music choices your clients like which is a good idea to make note of for future birthdays. Fitness bonds are hard ones to break. You can also find out how dedicated your clients are to get results whether fitness or work related. Don’t burn time — burn calories. You may find out you have more in
