ruitvale Junior High’s spring production is sure to thrill and delight audiences as Wyatt Hatfield, Julia King, Kaley Soren, Connor Adkins and Chris Feola bring some of Bram Stoker’s most notable characters to life! Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” will be presented Friday, April 17, and Saturday April 18. Hatfield plays Jonathan Harker, the young man who ventures to Transylvania to sell property to the formidable Count Dracula, leaving his fiancee, Mina (King), at home. Harker is held captive at Dracula’s castle, causing Mina to worry and seek comfort from her good friend Lucy (Soren). Harker finally makes a daring escape, only to have the Count turn up back at home, with his sights on Lucy and Mina! This production also stars Race Dalton, Jennifer Hardy, Davis Decker, Alex Pope, Mira Landucci, Zoe Richert, Carolie Mueller, Gwen Jacober, Elizabeth Brookings, Daisy Lomeli, Madison Cooper, Allysa Reynoso and Brynna Hughes. Stage managers for the production are Zak Schwartz, Litzy Vargas and Megan Crumpler. Lighting technician is Pacey Shaff and in charge of projections is Keturah Fry. pproximately 4,970 undergraduate students at the University of Kansas earned honor roll distinction for the fall 2014 semester — Justin Miller, of Bakersfield, was one of those students. The students, from KU’s Lawrence campus and the schools of Health Professions and Nursing in Kansas City, Kansas, represent 72 of 105 Kansas counties, 42 other states and 34 other countries. The honor roll comprises undergraduates who meet requirements in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and in the schools of Architecture, Design & Planning; Business; Education; Engineering; Health Professions; Journalism; Music; Nursing; Pharmacy; and Social Welfare. Honor roll criteria vary among the university’s academic units. Some schools honor the top 10 percent of students enrolled, some establish a minimum grade-point average and
