Lifting Gear & Safety

(LGS) which includes the dedicated marine safety section LGS Marine, has been acquired by Axel Johnson International’s business group –Lifting Solutions. Axel Johnson International is a global industrial group, that acquires and develops companies in strategically selected niche markets, primarily technical components and industrial process solutions. The acquisition is a step in driving the LGS business forward with the aim of securing its position as a leading provider of specialist lifting and marine safety equipment.

Office

Lizard Yacht Service is to open a new office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to service superyacht customers in the USA and the Caribbean. The announcement follows on from an expansion with a new office in Palma, Mallorca, last year to service superyacht customers in the Mediterranean. The company launched in Spring 2021 and since then has taken on major projects in Antigua and Turkey, secured sole European distributor rights for the SeaClean System, and been appointed as the Wills Ridley servicing centre for the Balearic Islands.

Customers

Antenna manufacturer Shakespeare Marine has appointed PAINE as its new Italian distributor. PAINE was founded more than 35 years’ ago and supplies leisure and technical equipment to naval and industrial electronic customers.
