Generators
Fairline Yachts has chosen the Paguro variable speed range of generators to fit on its Squadron and Targa 45 and 50ft models. The units chosen are the 9000V and 12000V models which provide power to drive Fairline’s boat systems and provide comfort for owners and guests. The generators offer the benefits of both high speed and low speed generators - at quiet times when loads are light, they slow down and when demand is high they speed up producing more power.
Supply
bought by its customer, Flexiteek, in 2019 and is now part of the supplier of synthetic decking for the
Marlow Ropes is to supply the forthcoming Clipper Round the World Yacht Race with its sustainably made and recyclable running rigging. The agreement builds on a 20-year partnership between the two organisations and will be the first time the eleven-strong fleet has used this type of rigging. Throughout the relationship, Marlow Ropes has been able to research, develop and refine its products in the ultimate R&D setting – a 40,000-mile circumnavigation of the world’s oceans.
Landfill
Mercury Marine has added five distribution centres to its list of zerowaste-to-landfill (ZWTL) operations. The centres - four centres operated by Mercury subsidiary Land ‘N’ Sea and another centre on Mercury’s headquarters campus in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, have reduced, reused and recycled waste materials to comply with the ZWTL standards.
