This family-run business, based in Norfolk, will display four boat brands at the show - Linder, UMS, Smartwave and Kolibri.

The Marine Power Suzuki Angling Zone will incorporate a stage and VIP area. The zone will host BoatLife ambassadors and fishing enthusiasts John

Locker, Will Parkinson, Team Squidward and Simon Gibson.

Also exhibiting in the new zone will be Extreme Boats, Warrior Boats, Railblaza, Smartliner and Hobie Kayaks. There will also be fishing tournaments including the Sea Angling Classic and World Predator Classic.

Marine Power has a showroom in Brundall and has been in business since 1987.

An inaugural report by CHIRP has been published in the hope of preventing avoidable safety incidents onboard superyachts.

The collection of safety incidents, which have been collected anonymously through CHIRP’s website and app, have been analysed, reported on and given safety recommendations to prevent similar incidents occuring in future.

”We recognise that reporting can often be a difficult step, but we rely on reports to raise awareness of safety issues and it really is helping to improve safety outcomes by doing so,” said Adam Parnell, director maritime, CHIRP.

”We believe that our safety newsletters differ to many others because we focus on the primary human-factors that contributed to incidents and near misses.”
