Snack Station:

trail mix sweet and healthy Ingredients 1 cup dried apple slices 6 tablespoons pecans, toasted 6 tablespoons lightly salted whole almonds Ÿ cup raisins ½ cup pretzel nuggets Directions Cut the dried apple slices into quarter size pieces with scissors. Toss the apples, pecans, almonds, and raisins together in a medium bowl. Add the pretzel nuggets just prior to serving. Serve

Ingredients 1 banana 1 c. chocolate chips 2 white chocolate chips 1 tbsp. vegetable oil parchment paper Directions Cut a banana in half. Trim dried apricots into feet and a beak for each bird. In a medium microwavesafe bowl, melt 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. Stir in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Dip banana into the chocolate and place it on a parchmentlined baking sheet. Add white chocolate chip eyes and use a toothpick to dab on chocolate pupils. Use chocolate to attach the beaks and feet. Place the penguins in the freezer for 25 minutes.
