So long, farewell

Once upon a time, in Stanfield's little school, We were just little kiddos, barely keeping our cool. In Reception we arrived, at the age of four, Excited and curious, eager to explore.

Year One took us to Croxteth Park's embrace, Where we made new friends, in an enchanting place. Learning letters and numbers, our minds started to grow, With laughter and games, our spirits would glow.

Year Two brought a day of sunshine and fun, Sports Day in full swing, beneath the blazing sun. Racing and jumping, we gave it our all, Cheering each other, big or small.

Then came Year Three, and COVID crashed the scene, With Teams calls and Joe Wicks, a whole new routine We missed our friends dearly, but we persevered, With virtual hugs and laughter, wiping away every tear.

Year Four was a journey through Viking tales, Learning their ways, raising our sails

Longships and warriors, we imagined the past, Discovering history, it was an absolute blast.

Year Five arrived, with a royal decree, Celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Union Jacks waving, the streets painted in pride, We sang and we danced, side by side.

And finally, Year Six, our hearts bursting with glee, A three-day adventure, in Newlands, you see Exploring new places, creating memories to keep, Bonding with classmates, friendships running deep.

Now it's time to bid farewell, as we say goodbye, To the primary years, with tears in our eye But we'll cherish these moments, forever in our hearts, As we embark on new journeys, ready for fresh starts.

So here's to the Year Six leavers, with dreams so bright, May you soar and succeed, reaching for the heights Remember your roots, the laughter, and the fun, Primary school days, where it all had begun.
