There’s a dark deliciousness to the shoot that we can’t quite place, a polish but also a mystery that evolves as the day goes by. Perhaps it’s focused around a scrupulous courtship… The scene is set in high fashion. It is modern day yet period inspired, most likely in an English estate and garden. It’s impossibly moody and editorial, yet emotive… The focus remains on the couple around the grand estate, telling a “story” so the vignettes flow together. Our goal is provide polish mixed with old world architecture, (both preserved and en ruin), to form a textured backdrop against the couple and their style. Wardrobe has distinct nods to a previous era, but is thoroughly modern in silhouette, and also evocative of individual style. Floral also remains inspired by the English garden… soft, light and airy and accented by the windows, columns, metals and light of the set, yet weighed by velvet drapery and iron accents, such as those in a stained glass window.
