Trip to the East
Our team had the opportunity to go to the east of Ukraine in July, in order to take away 40 tons of humanitarian cargo, which consisted of food kits, first aid kits and Ukrainian Bibles. Thanks to our partners: Great Commission Society, PlusOne and Athletes in Action. This time, each of us had to wear a bulletproof vest to save his life. We never know where the rocket might вантажу land, but God was with them and protected the whole team.
Part of the cargo was delivered to Kyiv and Chernihiv for military and civilian needs, and the rest was delivered to Kharkiv and nearby towns. A team of volunteers visited the village of Staryi Saltiv - it is 6 km from the line of Russian troops, many people do not want to go there because it is dangerous, but we are trying to distribute help wherever God gives us the opportunity to reach. We visited the military hospital in Kharkiv, where our wounded defenders are staying for treatment. We took food packages, clothes and Gospels to them. The hospital is overcrowded, they lack medicine, water and electricity. Therefore, we call on everyone who is not indifferent to help in any way you can. People in those places are in terrible conditions and constantly hear explosions.
More opportunities for trips to the East. Teams of volunteers and chaplains who will work with the injured and in military hospitals.
PRAYER NEED:

I would like to share a story about my father. His name is Valery Melnyk, he is 53 years old, he was born in the small town of Pokrov. My dad is an athlete, he is a soccer player and still plays soccer. He also runs in competitions for our city cross-country, long distances. I am very proud of him and love him. When I was 6 years old, my parents divorced. It was a blow for me, but God had everything under control. After some time, my dad had another family, but he always maintained relations with me and my sister and helped us. During the war, dad joined the local Territorial Defense. His team was taken to the frontline and given a month of training. Afterwards, dad was appointed a commander of a detachment of 10 people and sent to the combat zone near Kharkiv. My dream was that my father would accept the Savior and I told him about Christ, but every conversation on the topic was in vain and ended quickly. It must have been difficult for the father to hear the massage from his son. Therefore, I constantly prayed God would send people who would be able to testify about Christ to my father so that he would be able to receive Him into his heart. When I got a chance to deliver aid to Kharkiv with a humanitarian team, I was happy to see my father there. Once we had lunch with the team, my dad and Tony Anthony, a missionary from Great Britain, were sitting next to me. Tony decided to demonstrate the need of every man in Christ through paper folding. He told a story about a person who tries to achieve something in life, gains material wealth, and how in the end it all crumbles and passes quickly. When Tony took a piece of paper, he began to bend and twist it. And when he began to tear off the page along the edge, the words JESUS, heaven, hell came out. The most important thing is that he talked about the Gospel and what Christ did for him. Tony had another piece of paper in his fist, and when he started to unfold the paper, there was a cross. Tony gave it to my father and said: «I would like you to carry this cross with you, so that it will be your talisman and you will remember Christ is the One who can change you and give you abundant life in heaven.» This story touched my father and he told others about it, he said he wanted to hear the story again. I am very grateful to God there was such an opportunity where my father could hear about Christ. I pray and believe that in due time my father will accept God into his heart.
