We were able to send these fruits and berries to our soldiers, children in boarding schools and families with difficult life circumstances, refugees, so that they could enrich their bodies withvitamins.5 trucks of total weight arrived in July. 01 3

FEEDBACK OF A WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEE

My name is Viktor. I am retired. I used to work as a firefighter. When the war started, I wanted to become useful for the Ukrainians, so I went to work as a volunteer in the warehouse. I like to help people, unload trucks with humanitarian aid and load buses that go to hot spots in Ukraine. Another of my tasks is that I travel around cities and towns and distribute humanitarian aid. If you ask me: "What is difficult in my work?", then I will answer that the most difficult part of this work is physical work, because there was a moment when we unloaded 2 trucks in one day and loaded 3 trucks on the same day, we worked from 8 o'clock in the morning to 9 o'clock in the evening - it must be difficult. And in general, we have formed a good team working harmoniously and are ready to "turn mountains" together. It's important to me to be part of something great.

The hardest part of the job is standing at the border in a long queue that can last 5-7 days. You can't get a full night's sleep, take a shower or eat, and it's hot, but I'm willing to go through all the hardships so that every person who is waiting so much can get help.

Hello, my name is Vitaly. I am a truck driver. My task is to deliver humanitarian cargo from abroad to Ukraine. I love this job because I love the road and driving. But what pleases me the most is that I am not just driving a car, but rather a truck that carries such necessary cargo for Ukrainians.

Another month flashed by on the calendar, a month that did not become easier for Ukrainians. More and more people need help. In big cities, people stand in queues for lunch for 5-8 hours, to get one serving of soup and porridge with gravy. When we hear stories like these, we try to act, especially when it comes to families with children, the elderly or people with disabilities. In July, 95 tons of cargo were distributed. You can get acquainted with detailed distribution information in July 125 teams, churches, HeIp-centers, military units, societies or individual leaders received help for further distribution. More detailed information about exactly where and what was distributed, can be seen in the table and in the photo. As before, the cargo comes to churches and organizations, and they distribute it on separate points.

This time, each of us had to wear a bulletproof vest to save his life. We never know where the rocket might вантажу land, but God was with them and protected the whole team. Part of the cargo was delivered to Kyiv and Chernihiv for military and civilian needs, and the rest was delivered to Kharkiv and nearby towns. A team of volunteers visited the village of Staryi Saltiv - it is 6 km from the line of Russian troops, many people do not want to go there because it is dangerous, but we are trying to distribute help wherever God gives us the opportunity to reach. We visited the military hospital in Kharkiv, where our wounded defenders are staying for treatment. We took food packages, clothes and Gospels to them. The hospital is overcrowded, they lack medicine, water and electricity. Therefore, we call on everyone who is not indifferent to help in any way you can. People in those places are in terrible conditions and constantly hear explosions. More opportunities for trips to the East. Teams of volunteers and chaplains who will work with the injured and in military hospitals.

Trip to the East

Our team had the opportunity to go to the east of Ukraine in July, in order to take away 40 tons of humanitarian cargo, which consisted of food kits, first aid kits and Ukrainian Bibles. Thanks to our partners: Great Commission Society, PlusOne and Athletes in Action.

PRAYER 03NEED:

During the war, dad joined the local Territorial Defense. His team was taken to the frontline and given a month of training. Afterwards, dad was appointed a commander of a detachment of 10 people and sent to the combat zone near Kharkiv. My dream was that my father would accept the Savior and I told him about Christ, but every conversation on the topic was in vain and ended quickly. It must have been difficult for the father to hear the massage from his son. Therefore, I constantly prayed God would send people who would be able to testify about Christ to my father so that he would be able to receive Him into his heart.

9

I would like to share a story about my father. His name is Valery Melnyk, he is 53 years old, he was born in the small town of Pokrov.

Dmytro Melnyk

When I got a chance to deliver aid to Kharkiv with a humanitarian team, I was happy to see my father there.

After some time, my dad had another family, but he always maintained relations with me and my sister and helped us.

My dad is an athlete, he is a soccer player and still plays soccer. He also runs in competitions for our city cross-country, long distances. I am very proud of him and love him.

This story touched my father and he told others about it, he said he wanted to hear the story again. I am very grateful to God there was such an opportunity where my father could hear about Christ. I pray and believe that in due time my father will accept God into his heart.

When I was 6 years old, my parents divorced. It was a blow for me, but God had everything under control.

Once we had lunch with the team, my dad and Tony Anthony, a missionary from Great Britain, were sitting next to me. Tony decided to demonstrate the need of every man in Christ through paper folding. He told a story about a person who tries to achieve something in life, gains material wealth, and how in the end it all crumbles and passes Whenquickly.Tony took a piece of paper, he began to bend and twist it. And when he began to tear off the page along the edge, the words JESUS, heaven, hell came out. The most important thing is that he talked about the Gospel and what Christ did for him. Tony had another piece of paper in his fist, and when he started to unfold the paper, there was a cross. Tony gave it to my father and said: «I would like you to carry this cross with you, so that it will be your talisman and you will remember Christ is the One who can change you and give you abundant life in heaven.»

The grant was received to strengthen the active ministry they carry out.

The "5 Churches" project (as we call it among ourselves) was created with the help of our foreign friends/partners and PlusOne. This is an additional grant that was allocated to five partner churches.

Churches that are active in hot spots, helping victims and sheltering refugees Churches located in the following cities: Irpin, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kryvyi Rih and Dunaivtsi.

For example: someone prepares food, accepts refugees, prepares premises for winter, buys food or fuel, conducts camps - churches are free to use finances in their ministry. These finances will help to be even more efficient.

The next morning they found the “right” father this time at the correct address and evacuated that man as well. The very next day, a mine flew into the house of evacuated, and his house was completely destr By such an interesting story, and by the mistak life of another person.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the church has been actively serving people helping them to evacuate. One day after midnight, a volunteer of the church received a call from some people with a request to evacuate their elderly father, who didn’t really want to leave Irpin. The following day, a team of volunteers arrived at the indicated address and managed to persuade the old man, who continued to resist, to leave his home with them.

As the evening was approaching, the same people called the volunteers from the church and asked why they hadn’t yet evacuated their dad yet. The volunteers responded they had picked up the man already. As it turned out, they got the address wrong and evacuated the wrong man.

Video link Pastor Vasyl Ostryi was a companion in the preparation of the church for the war - he had initiated water and food supplies, conducted online broadcasts with chaplains and soldiers.

When the war broke out, he was visiting the USA, so he returned to Ukraine to actively volunteer - to ensure the possibility of a large-scale evacuation of the people of Irpin, to deliver humanitarian aid together with the team, and launched a Trust Line.

From the day the war started, our church has been actively serving local people. On February 24, Russian troops invaded our city and having set up checkpoints at the exits, took control over the city. Sumy city was under siege. At that time, it was also subject to aerial bombard ment. One such casualty happened on the night of March 7 when a Russian jet dropped several bombs on the residential area An entire street of private houses was destroyed and 22 people including children died. During Russian occupation, our community continued to provide people primarily with spiritual support. We prayed for people, shared the message of encouragement and hope with them. During these four months, we would buy food, household detergents, hygiene items and medicines whenever possible. We distributed aid to the homes of the neediest strata of the population. In the beginning, together with other churches and local businessmen, flour, eggs and chickens were distributed through the churches. Then we began to form food packages, supplementing them with medicines and hygiene

Duringitems. the first two months of the war, we were also helping with the evacuation of people who wanted to leave. Thanks to joined efforts with other churches, people were transported to safer places by small vans. People would first stay in the cities of Poltava and Cherkasy. From there they had an opportunity to go to the west of Ukraine or abroad.

From the first days we felt a great responsibility in helping physically and spiritually and morally our military. During the first days of the war, starting in the morning, we would deliver hot tea, as well as basic necessities. And, most importantly, at every meeting with the military, we would give them a hug and pray together. We still continue to do so! During this time, however, it has grown more into cooperation with commanders and officials.

The help we provided was various: power generators, bulletproof vests, a lot of medicine, helmets, optics, food…, one won't remember everything, but what we remember for sure – every time when meet ing with the military, we try to give them a hug and pray with them and for them! of Jesus Christ"

Thankful to each of you" Lena (Mariupol)

We are a family from Mariupol. We came here to Krivoy Rog saving the life of our children and life of our own. Here we met a lot of kindhearted people and received support from volunteers and just caring people. It was very delightful and we feel proud for our country and our people. Our acquaintance with Shelter and the people who are engaged in this work has been the greatest luck for us. This is really their frontline for the sake of our Victory, as Roman says, and they get a victory at their frontline every day. Thanks to everyone who volunteers and who takes care of children. Thanks for all the events you organized - you did your best and we feel it and your attitude makes my life easier and makes me want to live on ... Thanks to you, I started feeling the ground under my feet, I got to understand how I can face everything that is happening, where I can get the strength for my faith. What you do is very important.

Our community of Jesus' disciples is the most informal and open structure for cooperation - both with churches of other denominations and with various civil society organizations. In this way, our team manages to be as flexible and efficient as possible in these conditions.

1) we are looking for / buying / producing equipment for military protection (helmets, armor, high-quality individual first aid kits, specific medical equipment) and for more effective reconnaissance activities (thermal imagers, quadcopters, walkie-talkies). For example, we have merged several local businesses and organized high-quality production of more than 200 bulletproof vests. Also organized a high-quality chain for the purchase of cars for the front in Europe and have already brought, put in order and handed over to various units of the Armed Forces more than 20 cars

Shelter Church, the city of Kriviy Rog

The main activities, in addition to the daily prayer front and pastoral care of the faithful, are implemented through the Cultural and Community Centre SHELTER + and the Union of Responsible Citizens. In particular, for success at the front and assistance to refugees, we do the following:

WHAT DID THE BETHLEHEM CHURCH DO DURING THE WAR?

- Evacuation of people from flash points. During the hostilities, about 20 drivers took people out of the places where fighting continues and frontline areas. These are people from Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions.

hothotot “Loving God, loving people” - these 4 words describe the mission of the local church "Bethlehem". Since February 24, our community has been actively involved in service in the military realities. In addition to existing ministries, new ones have emerged in response to the challenges of war. Since the beginning of the war, the Bethlehem Church has been working in 6 areas.

- Temporary location for people. Since the beginning of the war, it has received 6,000 people who have been evacuated from flash points. People stayed at the church or at members of the church community in transit.

"Thank you very much for the care given to our children, we apologize if they were mischief- makers.

During such a difficult time, you did everything to make our children happy. This camp was a highlight for them, and they returned to Irpin with even greater love to family and motherland. We have been living without the father for four months so far, because he is still defending us in the military frontline, but every day we pray and hope that he will come back alive."

бо

David always chose the ball. Until the third day came... He came silently and said that today he made a choice: "I can behave as I want. Today I choose to obey." He main tained a control over himself too well. So we started talking. Of course, during the classes. He allowed us to touch his soul when he was confident of trust. I will never forget that conversation. The conversation was about rewards and heaven.

I was stunned...

And he continued: "I manage my own life." I spoke about the fact that no one may take a human life. God gives it to you and has a plan for it. And David waved his stick and shouted: "I may. This is my life. I may die!"

18

Then I asked him to listen to the story of God and the way to heaven through His story and Jesus. David waved his stick, rebelled, but listened silently. And when I offered to pray, he said: "I want, I want to be friends with God." After the prayer, I took his palm and repeated it several times, bending each finger.

David joined to the camp with his two brothers. On the first days he did not hear when people addressed him - he would shout, run away, carry other children on his back. He would leave the classes demonstratively. He was restless all the time. When he was slowed down, he would stare as if piercing you. We tried our best to explain, show, give him love and hugs. We let him make a choice: "Either you go to play ball by yourself, or you sit down and listen to a story together with other children, without running away."

"David, God has promised those who love Him: I WILL NEVER FORSAKE YOU."

I repeated it again and again and even on the day of departure. I mentioned that bad things happen, but God will send people on his path who will help him overcome everything. He will care and never abandon. From that day on David changed, and we became friends.

MotherFEEDBACK

"I want to go to heaven," David said. "My"Why?"dad died two months ago. I can't live without him." Here his voice broke off. And tears froze in my eyes. He grabbed a pick and started hitting the log.

"I know a way to get there faster," continued David. "Cut my wrists, let all the blood out. Or kill myself in another way!"

When the war started, my mother came across the Kids in Movement resource on Telegram offering activities for children for free. Later, the same Telegram channel announced a children's camp would be held in Romania. One of the organizers turned out to be an old friend of my mother's and we agreed that we would go to the camp as a whole family. My mother and I were to be volunteers, and my 12-year-old brother was to be a participant in the camp. I ended up as a participant in the first session of the camp, and in the next two sessions - the leader's assistant. I felt needed and fulfilled there, which was extremely important for me. It is hard to find words to convey what it feels like to be in the place where you belong . I am very grateful to God and the people He is acting through.

06first-aidtacticalkitsContentofthetacticalfirst-aidkit:

During July, our team collected 300 medical military first-aid kits. The kit consists of medicines and medical products for the provision of first aid in the case of injuries to servicemen. Many people joined this project, for example, a surgeon from Kyiv sent haemostatic napkins free of charge, sponsors from Holland handed over tourniquets and many other tools from Romania. Everything that was missing was bought independently. All tactical first-aid kits were sent to the front line to our defenders. We plan to continue forming first-aid kits in order to reach the number of 1,000 pieces.

When preparing equipment, it is very important to maintain a balance between its weight and the minimum number of necessary items. The items listed below that are part of a tactical first aid kit are the least that can preserve health or save life.

A military first aid kit is extremely important to save the lives of our soldiers in the struggle for inde pendence. Each of us can bring the long-awaited victory and liberation of our native land from invaders closer. We can save the lives of the soldiers of the Armed Forces by providing them with the must have things.

"A little story about first-aid kits. We want to be useful as much as possible in helping our defenders of Ukraine. That's why we constantly hand over medicines, first-aid kits and everything else we can.

A great blessing for the Irpin Bible Church last week was the arrival of teams consisting of 7 participants from the Netherlands and 3 members from the USA. They were able to raise funds in their countries to repair one of the Aid Centers in Gostomel. In this Center, refugees gather, a worship service is held for them, they are fed and also taught the Bible. They bought a refrigerator in the Center of Mykhailivska Rubezhivka town. Their help this time was eliminating the destructive consequences of the Russian invasion in several houses, preparing the gymnasium for the academic year, namely blocking all windows with sand bags for protection (anyone who has done this at least once will understand how hard work it is). One of the houses destroyed by the Russian occupiers was prepared for repair work...

All Ukrainians who were with this team admired their hard work, dedication, and quality of work. And there is one more thing that inspired everyone: they asked that the working day should start at 6:00 am instead of 9:00 am. In just 4 days of stay in Irpin, a tremendous amount of work was done. We thank God for every heart that is open to be with Ukrainians in such a difficult time. We appreciate every prayer, every help in various forms. In such people we see God Himself.

We are the members of the Irpin Bible Church (IBC), which aims to plant an evangelical church in the city of Hostomel using a Volunteer Aid Center. On May 2, 2022, immediately after the liberation of the city from the Russian invaders, seeing an immense spiritual need of the local population, our work in the Aid center in Hostomel started. We began to gather for worship services in the premises of the «Pokrovsky» residential complex.

Initially, we mostly ensured the distribution of ready meals and food packages. At the same time, the spiritual work with the residents of the city was implemented. On May 8, we held the first worship service in the premises of the Volunteer center, which was attended by about 20 new people. Now, about 80 people attend our services every Sunday, and Sunday school is also open for kids during the worship service.

AWANA Children’s sports club - once a week (25-30 children and teenagers). Youth club – once a week (30-40 children).

Distribution of UNICEF food kits to school teachers and kindergarten teachers in Hostomel - 220 food kits; The Children’s Day event was held for children and their parents - about 80 children; One-week children’s and teenagers’ camp - about 150 children and teenagers; A two-day Medical Mission by Christian doctors - about 100 residents of the district have received aid recently; During this time, a team of 20 Christian volunteers was formed. They serve daily at the base of the Volunteer center.

Watching a movie - 1 time a week (30 people).

«Overcoming the disaster» Course for people who suffered from the consequences of the wartwice a week (10-15 people). So far, about 30 people have completed the course.

In July, we received the first batch of 32 bicycles. We sent these bicycles to the fleshpoints of Ukraine: Irpin, Buzova, Kyiv, Voronkiv (Kyiv region), as well as Kamianets-Podilskyi and Dunaivtsi (for help-centers and volunteers who are engaged in unloading trucks) Bicycles are distributed according to a certain principle: - to the de-occupied cities, where the roads are destroyed, there are no cars, there is nothing to get to the destination, that's why the bicycle is the means of transportation that helps people take aid such as: medicines, products, clothes to people, who need it; - in cities where there are volunteers from the east who moved to the western part of Ukraine and work for refugees; And we are also waiting for the second batch of bicycles, which will be sent to Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Donetsk and Sumy regions.
