welcome, friends! Hello! I’m so glad you’re here! I am a wedding & lifestyle photographer based in Seattle, Washington (but I love to travel!) My style is true-to-life, bright & cheerful. I delight in natural lighting & creative composition and I love love. I believe that marriage is awesome, and I think it’s pretty cool that I get to capture people on the happiest days of their lives as my career. My husband, Kevin, & I met volunteering in New Orleans back in 2010. I was head over heels for the guy and we married in our college town of Charlottesville, Virginia four years later. We decided to start an epic adventure together and moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in 2012 and are loving every minute of it. We can most likely be found hitting a brewery in Ballard with our puppy, Lemon, or cooking up a meal with How I Met Your Mother playing in the background. Travel has been a part of our relationship from the start and we love exploring cultures near and far, whether it’s jetting off to Thailand for our honeymoon or visiting our familes on the east coast. Kevin and I are avid Sounders fans, snowboarders & amateur car-campers. my passion I discovered my passion for wedding photography when I was just 17 years old. I started Meredith McKee Photography in my college dorm room knowing that I wanted to make a life out of documenting people in love. My passion is to create truly joyful, authentic images that capture the real emotions of your wedding day. I’ll meet with you in person or have a glass of wine with you over FaceTime. I share a series of questionnaires with you because I want to get to know you as a couple & better understand what makes you click. I keep in touch during the long months of planning to help in any way I can. I share an extensive wedding day guide to help you make decisions about everything from planning your engagement session to utilizing the best light on your wedding day. At the end of a wedding day, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. Seriously. Because I have spent the time genuinely getting to know you, I share in this joy with you, and relish in this epic celebration of love. Growing up in Tennessee and Virginia, my style has a classic Southern charm - a sweetness to my images, a look that is not overly processed, but timeless like a beautiful string of pearls. I combine this aesthetic with my love of the outdoors and the rustic Pacific Northwest to create a look all my own.

engagement Engagement sessions are one of my favorite things to photograph for so many reasons! We get to go somewhere that has sentimental meaning to you, or go on andventure somewhere beautiful. Engagement sessions allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera & you will be so much more relaxed on your wedding day. We get to hang out, get to know eachother better, and capture some really gorgeous images while we’re at it. Portrait time on the wedding day is fantastic, but the engagement session is when we really get to take our time, play, and enjoy the love between you! Full engagement sessions last about an hour and a half.
albums Nothing tells the story of your wedding day better than a gorgeous, handbound album. Your album will be printed and bound right here in the USA on 100% recycled paper. Albums come in a variety of sizes, shapes and styles, and will be filled with whatever memories mean the most to you. I’ll walk with you through the process of choosing your format, layout & color options, and then do all of the hard work for you! Albums can either be included when you select your wedding package, or ordered after your wedding day. Having an album sitting on your coffee table means you get to relive and enjoy your happy, happy day more often!
