Clinical Pastoral Education

What Is CPE? Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is a professional course of blended learning to bring the student into supervised encounters with persons coping with a life-changing situation.

with Chabad on Call

CPE students learn how to listen and attend to patients more effectively through a mix of hands-on practice, clinical supervision and academic study. One unit of CPE consists of 300 hours of interaction with patients and community members and 100 hours of classroom and individual education. Total: 400 hours. Four units are required to become a Board Certified Chaplain, which can be done at a local hospital as a paid intern. A project of Merkos Suite 302 ChabadOnCall.com | Info@ChabadOnCall.com
