SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT RETREAT November 1–2, 2018 | March 28–29, 2019 Hotel Commonwealth | Boston, Massachusetts The Professional Development Retreat (PDR) is a two-day career development initiative for juniors and seniors designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and connections to thrive in the professional world. This bi-annual event helps students better understand their emotional intelligence so they can strengthen essential workplace soft skills in the areas of problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and adaptability. In addition to learning more about their own unique talents, students have opportunities to polish their networking and public speaking skills. The PDR relies on a comprehensive curriculum that helps students identify inherent strengths and enhance their professional demeanor. Workshops, presentations, and small group sessions include: • Distinguished speakers • Interactive learning sessions

“By learning from industry experts and college alumni, faculty, and staff, the students gain the critical skills they’ll need to enter the workforce with confidence and a real sense of how they perform under pressure.” Brian Downer ’87 Chief Procurement Officer State Street Corporation
