A LITTLE HISTORY

Merritt Gallery & Renaissance Fine Arts are established fine art galleries with a long family tradition. For over 40 years, we have been helping our clients create beautiful and unique collections.

Our mission is the incredible experience of connecting collectors with artists. We are dedicated to serving our clients as well as our artists. You will find that we are easy to work with and passionate about art.

With three locations, we house the largest collection of art in the MidAtlantic region, representing both established and emerging artists that hail from all over the U.S. and around the globe. Contemporary to traditional, our diverse collection of art ranges from original works on a variety of media to photography and sculpture.

Our art collection has both depth and variety, allowing our clients to experience and appreciate the talent and skill present in contemporary art today. Whether you are searching for a large scale painting or a series of small works, you will more than likely find it here.

STEP 1: PERUSE

Browse art at merrittgallery.com, or schedule a virtual or in person appointment with an art consultant.

STEP 2: PREVIEW

Submit a photo of the room, along with a few key dimensions. Our team will superimpose a selection of pieces to show you how they work with your client’s space.

STEP 3: PURCHASE

Work with one with our art consultants and take advantage of an in-home showing for local clients. If you’re out of town, you also have the option to buy directly from our website.

STEP 4: PLACE

Have your art delivered and placed in your client’s home locally by our experienced art handlers or remotely with a trusted white glove service.

De la Torre’s works remind us that life is full of color! I love the rich hues and how he works with thread to reintroduce color to a space where it had previously been removed. De la Torre’s works are hopeful, colorful and masterful!

Rose Masterpol’s Brainchild II is my absolute favorite piece! Something about the mysterious human figure and chaos depicted makes me think of a heroine, alchemist, or powerhouse—someone who is destined to tap into the untapped potential surrounding them. There’s so much to discuss and so much you can feel.

CHASE

This inviting painting is filled with narrative and visual intricacies. I love discovering new details, like the white hearts in the lower left hand corner, that aren’t initially evident when looking at the painting from afar.

Custom Framing design and layout begins with our art consultants in the gallery. Custom Framing production takes place in our state-of-theart facility, allowing us to provide a superior product using Library of Congress approved, museumquality materials and preservation techniques.

You will find that we are a servicedriven gallery, so in addition to complimentary in home (or in gallery) consultation with one of our experienced art consultants, we also take care of art selection, presentation, delivery and simple installation, to help make your life a little bit easier.
