Great design calls for great art (and vice versa!)

We love to see an interior designer complete their vision with the perfect work of art, or even design a room around an inspirational piece.

We asked some of our talented design partners to share their favorite piece from our collection... check out what they’re loving!

captivated by XAN PADRON

“I’ve always loved Xan Padron’s original take on photography and the unique composition. It’s graphic and organic at the same time, and his use of color is really fun.”

“I love the playful energy of the Ocelots in this piece. The large scale is so captivating and unexpected. The eye catching circles draw me in with a new understanding of negative space. I always love a piece of art that challenges me!”

swooning over GEOFFREY GERSTEN

Girl on the Beach, Oil on linen, 40 × 40 in.

“I am in love with Gersten’s work. They sit at the juncture of pop culture and true artistic talent. I mean, the skill to be able to paint something that looks like a photograph! The top layer of rainbow polka dots brings a whimsy and a spunk to the piece that I love to bring to all of my projects.”

charmed by RANDAL FORD

American White Buffalo No. 1, Photograph on aluminum, 40 × 40 in.

I love the white buffalo’s expression and how beautifully it’s captured by Randal Ford. The photograph’s level of depth and detail results in a greater appreciation for the greatness that exists within and around wildlife.”

fascinated by ROSE MASTERPOL

“The scale is wonderful and the mix of colors is very fresh. The subtle female figure feels almost cubist but with a playful energy. This piece could work equally well in a traditional or contemporary home and has enough presence for a feature wall in a foyer or living room. It would look spectacular against light oak paneling!”

Minerva, Acrylic on canvas, 60 × 48 in.

On the Water VII, Oil and wax on panel, 24 × 24 in.

“This is a piece I’d love to design a room around. It would be a tranquil space with comfortable upholstered pieces and warmth with natural materials. I love the juxtaposition of the atmospheric soft top with the textured bottom. I enjoy the artist’s subtle use of many colors and the suggestion of an abstract landscape, though very abstracted. I bet this piece glows in person and really takes you in.”

feeling the energy of ANNA RAZUMOVSKAYA

Free Spirit, Oil on canvas, 30 × 40 in.

“This piece is elegant and graceful with a palpable strong, feminine energy, which I love adding to the spaces I design. The central earth tones combined with the pops of rich burgundy and magenta make this piece the perfect focal point for any room.”
