Responsible from shopping mall part of the project which includes about 200 stores and 4-storey car park and landscape design.

Drawing all the details from exterior skin to the very details that make up a furniture.I took part in the follow-up of all field productions from the foundation to the opening of the project and completed the project from start to finish.

Location: Istanbul Turkey 2020

Contractor: Mesa Mesken

While the commercial units are situated at the ground level of the structure, residence units are located at the tower. Open spaces are designed with natural habitat integrated with landscaping in the center courtyard for commercial areas and terraces. Indoor and outdoor facilities are available for social activities at the ground floor.

The composition creating a facade of the building is based on fragmentation. The design of the base and the tower were taken into account during the scale of neighboring buildings as well as the need to reflect the use of multiple interior facilities; the fragmented structure is highlighted with color and texture differences. Autonomist identity of the commercial units is expressed with disaggregation of the architectural style which is successfully reflected on the outside.

LEED | Gold Level

Maltepe

Piazza Shopping Center Project, which was built by Rönesans Real Estate with an investment value of 378 million Euro in Maltepe, has been awarded LEED certificate Gold level. In this context, many environmental and human-friendly features are integrated into project design and construction. The rain water collected from the roof and hardscape was combined with the condensate from the cooling system and groundwater and used for irrigation of landscape and Office-Shopping Center WC reservoirs to increase Water Efficiency. As a result of the dynamic energy simulation using building systems, it has been determined that the project is 20% more efficient than the base building designed according to ASHRAE.90.1. The building aims to be a building where young, elderly and children spend time together.Each age group has its own area and also areas where they spend time together. For example, elderly people will be in the kindergarten, and while they will contribute to the education of children, there will be rehabilitation for the elderly. While the young will teach the elderly to use technological products, the old will share their experiences with the young. It will fulfill the task of being an intergenerational center with these and similar examples.
