One of the most beautiful beaches in Jamaica is Doctor’s Cave Beach. With its white sand beach and refreshing water, it’s perfect for a relaxing, sun-filled day. Montego Bay has a vast history for you to explore. Located downtown, at Sam Sharpe Square are the memorials of two of our national heroes, Sam Sharpe and Paul Bogle—both men were instrumental in the journey to Jamaica’s independence. The Square is also home to the Civic Centre, which contains The Museum of St. James, with Taino relics and exhibits. A few miles away, opposite The Shoppes at Rose Hall is the Rose Hall Great House, one of the island’s most famous great houses. It is said to be haunted by the house’s famous owner, Annie Palmer, who legend says, killed her husbands.
