Small, versatile solutions for sustainable mobility
June 25 – 29, 2025
Messe Frankfurt
world of fine mobility solutions including light electric vehicles (LEVs), micromobility, bikes and pedelecs.
Small, versatile vehicles and transport solutions are becoming more and more popular, especially in cities where cars are congested, and parking spaces are scarce. They are economical, environmentally friendly and climate-friendly. They are ECO – they make both economic and ecological sense.
The most prominent representatives of the new ECOMOBILITY are bikes and e-bikes. However, ECOMOBILITY also means a whole lot more.
ECOMOBILITY bridges the gap between bikes and conventional cars or vans as well as the gap between bikes and travelling on foot. As such, it’s significantly expanding the range and spectrum of sustainable transport and mobility solutions.
ECOMOBILITY covers the following product groups:
• Small vehicles (scooters, boards, kick scooters, segways),
• Trolleys and carts for moving people and goods,
• Mobility aids,
• Bikes and cargo bikes from to unicycles to quadracycles,
• Electric ‘mofas’, mopeds, motorized scooters and motorbikes,
• Micro cars,
• Mini cars.
ECOMOBILITY is bringing new energy to EUROBIKE – in keeping the trade show’s development towards becoming a platform for sustainable everyday mobility and commercial transport solutions.
In turn, ECOMOBILITY benefits from the power and reach of EUROBIKE, the leading international bike trade show with its unique networking infrastructure. This is where the whole sustainable mobility ecosystem comes together – from bricks-and-mortar retailers to international distributors and manufacturers. In addition, EUROBIKE is a major media event with over 1,200 media representatives from 30 countries.
ECOMOBILITY is based in Hall 8. It’s a showcase for manufacturers and innovations from lightweight electric vehicles (LEV), connectivity, urban mobility, intermodality and service sectors. Moreover, in addition to the ‘ECOMOBILITY Highlights’ special exhibition, Hall 8 also houses the Start Up Area, Cargo Area and Service Area, plus the EUROBIKE Award exhibition and the ‘Ecomobility Forum’ conferences.
Every year, the ECOMOBILITY Highlights presents special areas in ‘fine mobility’ at the centre of ECOMOBILITY in Hall 8. Last year saw the launch of ‘fine mobility commercial vehicles’ for companies, service providers and tradespeople. This year sees the addition of vehicles for use in the logistics and courier sector and families with children.
We focus on the following target groups:
Commercial vehicles
• Tradespeople
• Building and estate managers
• Courier services & cycle logistics
• Fleet managers
Family vehicles
• Families
• Working with children (kindergarten & daycare centres, playgroups, sports clubs)
We invite all users to come and see the options for electric transport solutions, cargo bikes and lightweight electric commercial vehicles. And there are opportunities to touch & feel, load/unload and test drive them too...
Product presentations and flyers generate interest, but there’s no substitute for a test ride. This is why EUROBIKE provides a comprehensive DEMO AREA with extensive opportunities to test ride new bikes, boards, scooters and vehicles out in the open – to experience the thrill for real. EUROBIKE 2024 visitors conducted over 50,000 test rides on the 3.5-kilometre TEST TRACK! This year ECOMOBILITY Highlights will have its own special track to start the test rides on.
In addition to manufacturers, there are also resident experts on hand to consult, including Konrad Otto-Zimmermann, creative director of The Urban Idea and fine mobility pioneer, Christoph Neye, ecomobility consultant and founder of Motionlab.Berlin and Monika Zimmermann, member of the national board of the Verkehrsclub Deutschland (VCD)/ Mobility Organisation Germany. They’ll be providing expert advice on the areas of application and specifications of the products on show.
From informative talks and presentations to guided tours and industry gettogethers – ECOMOBILITY@EUROBIKE offers an extensive programme of specialist events to cater for a wide range of requirements from individual end users to commercial fleet managers and manufacturers.

ECOMOBILITY Highlights is a B2B platform with a B2C feel and appeal. By addressing the fields of transporting people and transporting goods separately, you talk directly to your target groups directly without losing impact.
ECOMOBILITY Highlights is the place where decision makers come to get informed and inspired for the future. Trade visitors are attending to learn about and deepen their understanding of new products. Take advantage of the EUROBIKE experience to meet your customers – whether tradespeople, public procurement agents or individual end users – to be able to accurately assess and respond to their needs.
The combined opportunities provided by the exhibition and experience areas, active engagement on the test track, and professional exchange at the supporting programme of talks and events makes taking part highly productive. Visitors quickly gain a direct overview of the diverse range of mobility solutions, by being able to touch, feel, load and ride or drive themselves.
ECOMOBILITY offers perspectives, inspiration and ideas for future-oriented, fine mobility solutions for both people and goods. All effectively delivered by the experience area, themed show tours and ECOMOBILITY Talk.
Future Challenge is a rather special race. On 7 June 2025, its participants start from the North Cape in Norway and attempt to travel 1,000 km without changing battery. All using the IEC charging standard, enabling a charging capacity of up to 3.6 kW during short charging stops for cargo pedelecs, velomobiles and multi-seater therapy bikes without having to worry about range. All vehicles use the five key technologies that are opening up completely new applications for pedelecs:
1. Chainless drives with pedal generators and electric regenerative braking,
2. Multi-track vehicles or combinations with trailers,
3. Solar charging on the vehicle/trailer,
4. Fast charging with standard charging interface for up to 3.6 kW charging power,
5. Legally equivalent to a bicycle.
Following the Future Challenge, the teams will be presenting and demonstrating their vehicles at EUROBIKE, explaining the technologies in workshops and discussing the technical regulations and legislative framework during stage presentations and press events.
