LEADING THE TRENDS 09 Visitor Information Friedrichshafen, Germany

September 2 – 5, 2009 www.eurobike-show.com

Welcome

to the Global Show.

1,000 exhibitors from 42 countries. 68 % international participation. 100,000 m2 for big bike business: these are figures which speak for themselves and for the EUROBIKE as the world’s leading trade fair in its branch. For four days – five if you count the DEMO DAY – the cycling world looks to Friedrichshafen. At the EUROBIKE, the future is the present. The coming trends première here. New alliances and networks are formed here. And this is the place for brands to prepare their successes. As the branch’s most important community platform, the EUROBIKE perfectly brings together industry and trade. This is thanks in no small part to the emotional presentation of the “cycling” theme. It is hardly surprising that the whole cycling world enjoys visiting the EUROBIKE every year.

The focus: each item is a highlight.

FASHION SHOW

The EUROBIKE is miles ahead of other trade fairs. It has product premières, market novelties and testing facilities you won’t find anywhere else. The side events are also clearly structured and geared towards the visitors’ requirements. The EUROBIKE DEMO DAY is the place for trade and media to get together on the test track under real conditions. The EUROBIKE AWARD honours the best from the branch. The EUROBIKE Fashion Show presents those garments which will be “en vogue” on the saddle next season. HOLIDAY ON BIKE serves the bicycle tourism market on the public day. TRAVEL TALK takes a look at developments and trends from the “Tourism by bike” segment. The dirt demo track and the EUROBIKE Party, which attract thousands of visitors, stir up enthusiasm.

DEMO DAY.

The dress rehearsal out in the wild. New bikes and new equipment generate new experiences, literally. And these experiences are made under real conditions on the DEMO DAY of the EUROBIKE (Tuesday, Sept. 1), one day before the start of the trade fair. The ideal conditions for the 3rd EUROBIKE DEMO DAY prevail in the charming, hospitable Ratzenried (municipality of Argenb端hl), which is only a forty-minute drive from the exhibition centre. Between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., trade and media are offered sufficient opportunity to test numerous bikes and pieces of equipment under tough conditions. From 8.50 a.m., shuttle buses leave Entrance West to take visitors to the DEMO DAY grounds every 20 minutes. A shuttle bus leaves Memmingen airport at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Guests arriving by shuttle bus from Zurich airport can easily change at the exhibition centre.
