54th INTERNATIONAL WATER SPORTS EXHIBITION
19 – 27 SEPTEMBER 2015
EXHIBITORS‘ INFORMATION
Extraordinary concept Right from the start INTERBOOT always saw itself as the somewhat different exhibition. As early as the 1960s the motto was “Much more than just boats”. Enthusiasm for water sports, attracting new target groups and getting across the typical lifestyle feeling are all just as important as a perfect product presentation. A wealth of ideas and innovative concepts make it a thrilling experience every single year. Examples of this are the Liquid Quarter Mile, where the performance of motor boats is put to the test or the first-class wakeboard event CASH FOR TRICKS. INTERBOOT also thanks its immense appeal to the extremely varied accompanying programme, which with more than 500 points has an enormous rate in interactive things going on. Whether it’s the INTERBOOT Youth Camp, cruise and tour advice, joining a sailing trip or the Fashion-Show – there’s always something happening at INTERBOOT.
Extraordinary marketing INTERBOOT does a lot to present water sports in a favourable light. The INTERBOOT press department provides all major TV stations and many private radio stations with reports and footage. Cooperation with the media increases the bond to the active grass-roots level and at the same time attracts new groups and factions to water sports. Over the years the INTERBOOT Media Cup has become an extremely attractive media event with an enormous range of interest. With media coverage of special events and activities we are always good for providing a topic for conversation. Whether it’s the INTERBOOT Caribbean Trophy, the INTERBOOT Mediterranean Yacht Week or the Media Event 4 in a boat – there are different ways of presenting and promoting water sports. The INTERBOOT promotion tour during the summer months ensures that INTERBOOT shows its active side at the water sports hotspots and whets the enthusiasts’ appetite for more at the upcoming event.
Extraordinary catchment area INTERBOOT is located in the heart of one of Europe’s most popular areas for water sports. The fact that at the same time this is also a region with very strong purchasing markets makes the prospects all the better. The direct catchment area of INTERBOOT includes southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein. More than 30 million consumers are in full employment and therefore have the financial means and readiness to invest in their passion. The majority of the international visitors comes from Switzerland which, with 100,000 registered boats and based on population numbers, has the highest number of boats in Europe. That so many water sports enthusiasts from our neighbouring country come to INTERBOOT is due not least to the close cooperation we have with the Swiss Boat Builder Association. This cooperation can

Extraordinary environment Try, experience, enjoy … that’s a perfect way to describe the days at INTERBOOT on the shores of Lake Constance. A quite exceptional test area that not only gives you the right feeling for a new boat, but also offers you spectacular sports and exciting and fascinating interactive modules. Guarantors for this are the INTERBOOT harbour, the Liquid Quarter Mile and the many sport and show events which take place at the harbour and along the Friedrichshafen esplanade. With up to 100 berths the INTERBOOT harbour offers the exhibitors a unique opportunity of presenting their products not only in the exhibition halls, but also live – in their element – on and in the water. In September the Lake Constance Region guarantees an exclusive experience: the heady, last warm days of the year … traditional wine festivals … excellent restaurants … golf … fitness … spas and general well-being.
Extraordinary service At Messe Friedrichshafen you will find service partners and contact persons you can rely on. Our experienced project team members personally take care of all the needs and wishes of the exhibitors; professionalism combined with partnership. Our objective is your success at the exhibition. There’s no such thing as “No can do” in Friedrichshafen. What used to be the INTERBOOT Exhibitors’ Ball has changed to a more casual after-show party on the exhibition grounds. 2014 was the first time the INTERBOOT exhibitors were able to celebrate and party directly after the show closed – and that without any formal pomp and circumstance; this will be continued in 2015. Various-sized rooms can be hired for meetings, conferences or as a “Show Office” at any time and at a reasonable price. “Full-service offers” in stand construction mean that even smaller businesses with a lower budget and without their own logistics department can also participate in INTERBOOT. A wide range of advertising and marketing material is available free of charge. INTERBOOT has very interesting possibilities as to how the exhibitors can put themselves in the limelight. This ranges from various advertising spaces on the show premises and grounds, through banner advertising on our website to action sponsoring.
