Homebase Dortmund Despite rapid expansion in the 1980s and 1990s, the trade fair Westfalenhallen Dortmund is still a location of short journeys. The last couple of years saw enormous investments in the infrastructure and area. The last fair hall was built in 2005. Nowadays, Dortmund offers nine air-conditioned trade fair halls and a very well developed service culture. In addition, Westfalenhalle 1 is now one of the largest event halls in Germany with a capacity of up to 15,000 people.
The Dortmunder Westfalenhallen are perfectly connected to motorways and public transport. Dortmund Airport serves two million passengers a year and connects Dortmund to a range of cities. Dortmund is in every way located right in the heart of the market. The Ruhr district and all of Nord Rhine-Westphalia is within easy reach. Nord Rhine-Westphalia alone offers access to more than 18 million customers. MY CAR has booked six halls for the premiere, which is the right dimension for this kind of event.
