Baird has a long tradition of giving back in the communities where our associates live and work, and many give generously of their time, talents and personal resources to local organizations. Our associates also support annual firm level campaigns to raise funds for local and national charities. And our Baird Foundation provides financial support for causes ranging from fighting homelessness and hunger to promoting education and the arts. Other ways Baird supports associates’ passion for giving back include Baird Gives Back Week; an event encouraging associates to team up in their communities and volunteer in a range of activities, including tutoring students, working with seniors, building homes and cleaning up parks. The Owensboro office associates are involved with more than 35 different organizations and boards in the community. They proudly support the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, RiverPark Center, ROMP, and the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce, to name a few. They are proud to be sponsoring the Rooster Booster breakfast on July 7 and have Don Rissmiller, Chief Economist — Director of Research, from Strategas — A Baird Company, scheduled to speak.
