Anderson plays a college professor accused of sexual misconduct by a young co-ed. Liberty Larson plays the student. Anderson will also direct the play, a fundraiser for T WO. (June 12-14 at The Empress, 418 Frederica) PINOCCHIO. The timeless fable of Gepetto’s puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy. His adventures toward that end have been a favorite of young and old for more than 100 years. A T WO youth production, featuring children of all ages. (June 12-21 at Trinity Centre) SUMMER SHORTS. A collection of original one-act plays by contemporary writers. A great way to see new works in their premiere productions. (June 19-20 at The Empress) THE YELLOW BOAT. True story of an eight year-old boy afflicted with AIDS related complications, this moving drama will be presented by, and for, young people. Playwright David Saar based the play on his own son’s experience. His personal connection drives the story to an unforgettable conclusion. (July 17-19 at The Empress) SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK. A musical about a first time teacher and the imaginary characters who help him prepare for it. Based on the 1970s cartoon known for its creative educational techniques. (July 26 and August 2 at Smothers Park) SHAKESPEARE AT SMOTHERS. The comedy T WELF TH NIGHT will be presented in Smothers Park, at the band shell. HARRY ANDERSON (Bio) Best known for his portrayal of Judge Harry Stone on T V’s NIGHT COURT, Anderson was first a featured player on CHEERS playing card sharp, Harry The Hat! He also starred in the comedy DAVE’S WORLD, as newspaper columnist Dave Barry. Anderson has done movies and theatre, and toured with a magic show called HARRY ANDERSON’S SIDESHOW. He has performed and directed OLEANNA several times, receiving positive response around the country. LIBERTY LARSEN (Bio) Liberty Larsen is a songwriter, actress, and fourth generation magician from Los Angeles. She is the host and production manager for The Brookledge Follies, a historic variety arts collective hidden in Hollywood. Her performances there range from music and magic to comedy, dance and grand guignol mediumship.
