RIVER TASKS This week in Torello is taking place one cleaning of Ges river. This work is made by Torello’s town hall and consists of cut the grass which has grown around the river. The intention is improve the river image and it is more ordered and cleaned. The works finish this week.
TV3 IN TONA Last week the autonomic television TV3 came to Tona to film the TV programme during the whole week. They were in the Església’s Square. The first day, they talked about typical expressions in Tona and they showed a report of the catering school in Tona which is very famous. The next day, a wizard from Tona, Mag Pota, did a magic show. On Wednesday, a famous painter from Tona talked about interesting places in this town. On Thursday they showed typical games in Tona.
THE CHANGE OF TONA’S STREET LAMPS Tona’s town hall is the owner of the street lamps in the city of Tona. People in Tona think that the town hall is wasting money, so the major decides to divide its property with one company and now the company is changing all the street lamps in Tona and replace them by cheaper ones.
TONA, NEW CATALAN TOWN Last Wednesday, the municipal Plenum passed the motion to begin the process of the creation for a Catalan state in Europe. It was decided unanimously. The Major and the town councillors stopped the concentration to hang the Independent flag on the balcony of the town hall.
THE NEW THINGS AT THE HIGH SCHOOL A new course has started at the beginning of September. This year there are a lot of changes and new things; for example the teachers Carles Teixidor (the teacher of Music), Roser Bujons (the teacher of French and Catalan ) and Miguel Hurtado (history and Civic Education teacher). Other new things are the benches in the playground and the curtains in the classrooms. The kids of 1st of ESO are new this year and all of them are in different classes. This year the students of 4rt of ESO are going on a trip at the end of the last semester.

We think this sport is very interesting and difficult to be successful on it and Julio is very successful. Tony Sanchez Puigdomenech was born in Tona in 1997. He is in 4th of ESO and we have chosen him because he does taekwondo. We are going to interview Mireia Busoms. A very good hockey player. We are going to interview Claudia Antunez. She is a referee, she’s 19 years old. She is from Honduras but she lives in Tona.
CHOCOLATE COOKIES Ingredients: -500 grams of flour -250 grams of butter or margarine -1 egg -200 grams of sugar -Chocolate Preparation: First we beat the butter with the sugar in a bowl. We add the egg and mix everything. Then we put the chocolate and the flour. When we have the dough ready, we stretch it with a roll and cut out the cookies. A PUB: UNTOK Untok is a bar/restaurant in Vic. During the day it's a restaurant, you can have lunch there, but at the weekend, it turns into a pub at night. You can dance, have a drink, watch a football match, play pool... It's an interesting place to keep interesting conversations and meet friends. I like it because there are interesting people and I suggest it because it seems a very good place to have a good time!
A CAFÉ: EL BOSC DE LES FADES I would like to recommend you a café in Barcelona. Its name is ‘El Bosc de les Fades’ and it’s next to the Wax Museum in the Rambles. When you’re in there it seems you’re in a mysterious forest with fairies and strange alived-trees. You would have a really good time there having a coffee, a hot chocolate or a soft drink. A PUB: LA FABRICA La fabrica is a musical bar in Centelles. In La Fabrica you can dance, play footballtable and pool, There is also karaoke, You can also have dinner or have some drink. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 15:00 pm to 1:00 am. You can also celebrate your birthday. It is a nice place to share with your friends. A RESTAURANT: WOK It is a Chinese restaurant in Granollers, you can eat as much as you can. It is a nice restaurant to share with your friends or family. If you go there your tummy will say “ENOUGH”. It is good price and you will leave very happy.
A CITY: NEW YORK I’ve chosen New York as place for holidays. There are a lot of districts to visit:, such as: Bronx, Harlem, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Chinatown, Little Italy... I like it because the people are clever, friendly and overall hard-working. You feel so good among these people, everybody is kind. I suggest this country because it seems to me a wonderful place. If you go there someday, I hope that you like it! A CONTRY: FINLAND Finland is a country that you can visit in winter and you can do many funny activities: skiing, ice skating, snowboarding, etc.. Lapland is the northern part of Finland where Santaclaus was originally created. So Christmas in Finland is very important for children and they have a big celebration. In summer you can visit the typical island house where you can go to the sauna and then you swim in a cold lake. In the middle of the summer you can see the midnight sun and if are lucky, you can see the northern Lights. It's so exciting! A GAME: NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED 2 I would like to recomend the "Need For Speed Most Wanted 2" computer game.It is a Play Station 3 game. This game has better graphics than the others. The game has the best sports cars in the world including Nissan GTR, Lamborghini Aventador lp 700, Ariel Atom V8 and more. If you buy this game, you can drive before you are 18 years old because it seems you are driving a real car.
A FILM: THE IMPOSSIBLE ‘The Impossible’ is a Spanish movie which talks about the story of a Spanish family who were in the tsunami of Thailand in 2004. It stars Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts. They were on Christmas holiday when an enourmous wave came from the sea. Then they have to meet each other again because they were in different places because of the tsunami. I strongly recommend this film because i’ts very emotive and you will learn things about the life. A FILM: BREAKING DOWN It is the third part of twilight and the second part of new moon. This saga is about one vampire and one wolfman who fall in love with a normal girl. The girl chooses the vampire and she turns into a vampire too, the wolfman accepts it. After having a baby, the wolfman loves the baby. they have a lot of problems and the film explains how they solve them. A BOOK: THE DARK Abel is seventeen years old, he lives with his mother and spends the nights at the computer...... A FESTIVITY: BONFIRE NIGHT On the night of November 5th, throughout Britain, people commemorate the capture of the Guy Fawkes in 1605. He tried to kill the king James I, but someone had warned the king and they captured the Guy Fawkes with lots of gunpowder. All of the most important parks in England prepare dolls representing Guy Fawkes, and then, at night, they burn them with a bonfire. Later, they display fireworks during 20 minutes. It's a spectacular exhibition to see! A SONG: MA POUBELLE It's a short comedy song, with not logical but funny lyrics.
