SOLID BUS BARS

Copper bus bars are used in electrical installations for distributing power from a supply point to a number of output circuits. They can be used in a variety of configurations, ranging from vertical risers and current carrying over distances, for instance to each floor of a multi-storey building, or from the top of a wind turbine. Copper is the optimal metal for current carrying bus bars, due to its highly conducting properties. Copper ensures a long and reliable service life, resulting in the lowest lifetime cost.

Copper has low electrical and thermal resistance, high mechanical strength in tension and good resistance to fatigue failure.

At Metalcenter, we can supply bus bars made from all alloys, and we can deliver according to customer-specific demands and designs. We supply bus bars in all sizes and shapes, with or without insulation. Should you require surface treatment like tinning or silvering we supply. We can deliver everything from a single bus bar as a prototype, to multiple bus bars or we supply as kits.
